The entree was superb, but the main, kingfish, was so overcooked it was chewy and rubbery. Fish should not be chewy. Not what you'd expect for a $70 lunch.

Highly recommend the degustation menu. Wait staff were very attentive, some people may find it irritating, however, I enjoyed it, expecially since I constantly needed refills on the superb mojitos. Only thing that bothered me was that the olives were served in a pool of vegetable oil, just didn't quite make sense.

We arrived and I was surprised to see that the dining room was much larger than I had thought it would be. The room was abuzz with conversation and quite busy but the wait-staff had us at our table with minimal fuss.

Food here is really good, lightly spice and full of flavour. The Kingfish skewers were wonderful. The restaurant decor is lovely, although when full it can be a bit too noisy. The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. There were 3 of us and we ordered 3 mains 3 entrees to share. The waitress structured it as a banquet for us, which was a really nice touch. You do need to book though, I rang on Thursday, and Saturday night was already booked out.

Very good experience. Went with a group of about 10 and the restaurant very busy with other groups and smaller tables. Service was prompt and efficient as were the drinks. Banquet was universally liked by all with good variety and sufficient quantity across all courses. Coffee was good too. All in all a very pleasant evening and recommended.

We had a 21st in a private room for my daughter. Despite ordering it beforehand, they had run out of champagne! It took them over 40 minutes to bring our first drinks. Food amounts were tiny. They rang us the next week and accused us of spilling something on the floor, which we didn't. The caller didn't even identify himself. They spoilt the whole night - go elsewhere.

We were a group of 8 people and had a dinner banquet. My partner is gluten intolerant and this was very well catered since the beginning, as the waitress asked us about any dietary requirements. They made sure to serve him suitable and nicely prepared dishes.

The entrees were nicely presented and very tasty. I particularly loved the borek and mushrooms. Although I am not a big fan of zucchini balls, I need to admit they were almost perfect, very light and tasty. Only the desserts were not up to my expectations but I am not a big fan of Turkish desserts anyway. The ambience is very nice and pleasant. Great service and highly recommended.

Big fan of the Ottoman. The food and service are consistently good, the atmosphere is great, and it's always a bit interesting to check out the who's who of Canberra hooking into wine at neighbouring tables. The menu has variety and plenty to offer vegetarians. Highly recommended.
