Wonderful mains! We loved the idea of the entree sized meals, basically a do-it-yourself degustation. Very finely balanced flavours in all the dishes we tried, just a delight for every plate.
Service was impeccable, best we've had so far in Canberrra. Friendly but unobtrusive, and amazingly prompt. We never had to wait for more wine, bread, anything. Only downside to the meal was the dessert, which was nothing special after the fabulous mains. We will definitely be back (though next time I'll have the cheese plate for dessert).

The food was excellent, as good as any one hat I have been to in Sydney. Let down by inexperienced floor staff. I ordered a $150 bottle of red, it was decanted, but I wasn't shown the bottle! Timing of service was good, great views over Canberra, it was a beautifully clear night. We will certainly be going back there again.

The food is stunning and thoughtful flavours, what I mean by this is it all works, not one of those trendy restaurants trying too hard. They really deliver quality contemporary Australian food. Excellent wine list and of course great views.

Finally a restaurant in Canberra where we couldn't fault the service, well done Onred. The view from Onred is spectacular as the sun sets and the lights come on in the city below. The food is fairly straight forward (no challenges here) modern country style. A good but not spectacular dinner. Portions look modest but 2 courses, main and dessert, were sufficient. Desserts were good. Coffee was a bit ordinary. Very popular with the locals and we would go back again.

Really nice view of surrounding Canberra! Meals were brought out at appropriate times. The fish tasted 'fishy' which led me to the thought that it probably wasn't fresh (what was I doing ordering seafood in Canberra!?). Desserts of creme brulee was excellent as was the pineapple salsa accompanying the coconut parfait.

Great views and excellent food and friendly service. What a treat were the fried Cauliflower with blue cheese entree and the eye fillet. Really nice food I would recommend. OK it's not cheap though but for an occasion or if you can afford it it's well worth a vist. I will be back.

Brilliant views, lovely restaurant. Food was fine and worthy of its surroundings. I was less than impressed with the service, it seems that wine was flowing much faster than we were able to keep up and although this was partly the fault of a friend, it was plain to see that the majority of our table could not drink as fast as we were being challenged to. At one stage I had a white and two reds in front of me I felt rushed and therefore less relaxed. One of the waitstaff also needed an attitude check, as my polite request for more time to chose a dessert got me a look of disdain and no return to seek my order.
