A rare night out was spoilt by some disappointing service. No problem with the food - very tasty and good portion size. However, after our entree plates were cleared, we sat for 20 minutes without a sign of our mains. Then a waiter asked us if we would like coffee - we informed him that we were still waiting for our mains. He disappeared and did not return to give us an update.

After another 10 mins I called another waiter over to ask him to check on our mains as all the tables around us (that had arrived after us) were on their second courses. Once again the waiter disappeared and did not return with an update. After another 10 mins, I finally managed to gain the attention of another waiter who was able to finally bring us our meals.

When questioned as to why it took so long, there was a lame excuse about the volume of orders - it did not appear to impact the other tables. Obviously our order was overlooked, all I wanted was the first or second waiter to come back and provide an update. I should not have to chase someone 3 times.

To the restaurants credit, they did offer us a complimentary dessert but by that time we just wanted to leave. By all means give this restaurant a try but be prepared for some hit & miss service.
