Noisy venue with ordinary decor, rude staff with a poor service attitude, uninspiring food with optimistic prices, ok drinks at anything but ok prices just about sums up the Kennedy Bar for us.

An excessively noisy environment, poor service, ill-mannered staff features as the highlights of a night at the Kennedy bar. On the positive side, the food was average to good though poor value and the drinks were ok, but not memorable. As a place to hook up and move on from quickly it’s probably ok. It might even rate better on less busy nights. But our impression sees this the place as underperforming, over rated and one to avoid.

This place has the best dessert ever! Every time I come here I want to start with the dessert first! Having said that the mains are just as amazing and the pizzas are really authentic, really nice bases, Like a thin crispy focaccia. The venue is beautifully renovated with not a cent to spare and has a sleek clean look. I think a few of the other reviews have the wrong venue as I have been into the kitchen when organising a menu for my party and it was brand spanking new and so clean that you could eat off the floor, go and look for yourself next time you are there.

The bar staff also make a mean cocktail and I have always experienced service with a smile. Just thinking about their dessert makes me want to go there now.

I was in two minds about agreeing to come here. The staff were rude from the outset and the prices are a bit rich. If you want to charge those prices, they need to delivery quality service and products. Neither were worth much from my time here. The food was bad and smelt a little off. The kitchen smelt even worse when I walked by it.
I wouldn't touch a pizza that looked like this.

Have been here twice. The drinks are quite over priced, even the house white was too expensive, even for my Sydney taste. Wouldn't mind paying the money if it tasted better, but it didn't. Cocktails okay. There are way too many suspect reviews on here for this place, my guess, the management are spending too much time online making fake blogs than working on their menu (which is over priced and bad).

We went as a family, 8 and 6 year olds, looking for a tasty meal, comfortable environment, short drive away. Kennedy Room is all those things - and more. My whole family loved the food, the flavour, the dessert, the service, the whole experience. My wife enjoyed her glass of house red. I loved my steak. Thoroughly recommend Kennedy Room to anyone willing to pay a decent price for a decent dinner.

Came in for my work Christmas Party the week before Christmas. Had an amazing time, food was great, cocktails were even better and the staff were ever so very friendly! If I ever had to organise an event or a night out, Kennedy Room would be my first choice! Highly advise you try this place out!

What can I say the food was good but the service is not worth going there for the food. We had a table booked for 11 people at 7 pm. We were seated at 7 pm. They took our drink orders at 7.20 pm with our food order. I got my glass of wine at 7.45 and my entree around 8 pm. Our meals came at 8.30 but mine didn't come because they only wrote down 2 veal shanks instead of 3, the waiter did not check his order so I had to wait another 20 minutes for my meal.

They were not really apologetic and they did not even offer me a free drink or my meal for half price or anything. I personally think the management probably now think that they can do what they want because they supposedly have a good name. Well I do not think it is so. On a finishing note the meal was nice for me but the other 2 orders of veal shanks thought they were too oily and did not finish them.

A great place to have a drink and a bite after work with friends in a relaxed atmosphere. A really cool funky bar in a great part of Canberra. Great selection of beers on tap. Highly rated +++.
