Not the worst Indian around but I wouldn't rave about it either. The time I was there, there was a large screen down the back, showing music videos.

My husband and I had a lovely evening at this quaint restaurant. Although most of the tables were reserved, we were accommodated quickly without having a reservation.

The food was enjoyable (butter chicken and prawn vindaloo) and reasonably priced. The strength of this restaurant lies in its friendly and charming service, evidenced by a full house without the benefit of any foot traffic. The proprietor pays attention to each customer, she even visited our table at the end of the meal which was a nice touch. If the inner city restaurants in Canberra are disappointing you with bad value for money and poor service, make the effort to try An Indian Affair. $60 for dinner for two including a shared entree, rice, Naan and two mains.

I went to this lovely little gem on the weekend and was the best find in Canberra, the staff were attentive and helpful, the food came out quickly and tasted amazing! By far the best Indian Restaurant in Canberra! I'll be back.

A wonderful place for a family meal or just a romantic couples dinner. This place has style, wonderful service and amazing food and the atmosphere is just elegant.
And have to add the butter chicken is just divine. Very highly recommended.
