I've been here a few times already and I've loved everything! Our favourite from the entrees is the Peking Beef with pancakes. It's a bit sweet with a touch of chilli, just fabulous! Another favourite is the steamed scallops. The succulent scallops together with the ginger, shallot and sauce was perfect. I would also recommend the Bo Luc Lac, an authentic Vietnamese beef dish they described to have been influenced with French cooking. I'm definitely coming back many times more to try other things!

We just back from our dinner at Hoang Hau and I feel like its my responsibility to write a review straight away. It was Bad!

We ordered the Vietnamese roll for entrée and it was not that good. It was basically seafood spring roll, they charge $7 (it was a serve of 4) and one roll was half a size of a normal spring roll. My hubby had pho (Viet noodle soup) for main and it was disappointed. They serve tia to- Viet red perilla (Viet herb) instead of basil. The restaurant calls tia to "purple basil" which does not go with pho at all.

I had the crispy chicken with red rice. The red rice was nice and tasty. And the chicken, worst crispy skin chicken I ever had, Red Rooster would have done a better job really. The chicken was over cooked on the inside and not crispy enough on the outside which is the result of too many time re-fried. It was somehow salty, very strange. So guys, steer away from the crispy chicken.

We are so not going back!
