This place comes across as desperately trying to be something, but I'm not sure what exactly. There was nothing especially bad about our experience, it was just underwhelming. We had two pizzas, two steaks, two entrees and four light beers between four, which came to $160. The sweet potato and prosciutto pizza was odd and way too sweet. The steaks also had a strange, unidentifiable, 'dirty' flavour. And the pork belly entree was not crispy, as it should be.
I would not say avoid this place, but we won't be back.

Absolutely terrible service! They opened late, did not have our table ready despite the reservation (we were told there was a wedding 2 days prior and they were still cleaning up?), made us wait but did not offer the wine list, we had to pick up our own menus from the front table and the waitress was extremely uninterested in taking our orders. Overall, an extremely poor dining experience, don't bother!

Go here a couple of times a month. The pizzas are awesome, we paired it with a couple of house devised cocktails. The cardamom sidecar was quite overwhelming with too much cardamon, however, the Mitch Martini was sublime!
We always have a starter of 5 spiced calamari with blue cheese ailoi and lemon, however, the serving sizes are getting smaller, and, therefore, getting too pricey for such a small serve.
Heading out to their new restaurant in Murumbateman tomorrow! Flint in the Vines, so I shall see how that goes!

Much ado about nothing! The entree terrine was super rich and nothing special, and the main roast angus and truffled fries were both so heavy, rich again and saucy it was hard to even get close to finishing it. Found it all way too much (and I'm a foodie believe me) sometimes less is more. Even the bread has an ainiseed flavour.
Service is medicore dressed up as silver service. Awesome set up but just didn't quite get it right.

Had the first course of calamari, cooked well but nothing outstanding. The Chef's special of Cumberland sausage was great, as was the dessert of trio of citrus. Overall a nice dining experience without being great.

A mediocre dining experience at best. We were looking forward to dining here, but came away disappointed. All three orders of the pork belly were dry and accompanying white chocolate risotto a resounding failure. The Barramundi Meuniere also very disappointing and much too sweet, most of this was left on the plate. The steak frites was marginally better, however, the Parmesan and truffle homemade fries we very odd indeed. We decided to skip dessert. We now understand why 'Kell's Kitchen' was such a shortlived venture in Darlinghurst.

We were seated in he outdoor space for dinner last night. Although minor, they had forgotten a tablecloth, and the water was at room temperature. I had the plate of pork which was tasty; the loin was tender and the belly was nicely caramelised. I didn't think much of the confit, but that may be personal preference. As mentioned before, it seemed an awkward combination of casual and more formal dining. The service was quite good, although when a drink was reordered before dessert, it didn't come until the waitress was reminded of the order after we had finished dessert. Overall, a pleasant evening.

Flint seems unsure as to whether it offers casual dining or quality dining. The wine list is expensive (no reds under $40 and only one white, average around $65) yet offers pizzas at $22. You aren't going to drink $50 wine with a pizza. Food was ok but not fantastic. Choice is a bit limited at the various price points, on the night we were there the wait staff advised most diners were choosing the same main course, this was because it was really the only option for quality dining. Service was very good. Ambience is good. They just need to sort out their offering and then stick with it.
