Overall: average to bad. The staff must have been having a bad night, as my table was not looked after at all. The food was not what I'd go back for, and the sting of the price just made the matter worse. The view may have been nice once but with a cold chill through the place, the mood of the restaurant wasn't that merry. I wouldn't go back in a hurry.

I was there on Saturday with a group of 6 and was quite disappointed. 2 of the group arrived first, got drinks and menus. The other 4 of us arrived and nothing, no drinks, no menus, till we went to the bar and asked for them. Very slow to take orders, excellent at avoiding eye contact and didn't offer bread (a rip off to charge $3.50 pp for pretty ordinary bread too).

They were very good at replacing water bottles on the table though. The food was okay but not great. Steaks were cooked much more than medium. The calamari was very tasty. The chocolate mousse and cheesecake desserts were very good. With a lot of other places available in the vicinity, I wouldn't rush back.

Went here on the weekend with my family and was very disappointed. We had to wait over an hour to get our mains and when they did arrive we realised they had forgotten my sisters order so she had to wait an additional 15 minutes for hers. I had the duck which was incredibly bland and very overcooked my partner had the pork which was also overcooked. Only meal that seemed decent was the lamb shanks. We found the meal over priced even though the wait staff were quite attentive, I would not recommend going!

Came here with my partner and had a pleasant meal. Service was polite and friendly and fairly prompt. We had a minor mishap where the wind blew the drinks menu into the water bottle, knocking it over and spilling it. One of the other patrons must have told our water, as he came over to check that we were ok, whether we wanted to move tables, etc (it didn't spill on us so we were fine).

Foodwise, my partner had the beef on handcut chips, which he said was nice but we had to order a side of vegies because the steak was sitting on a mere four chips! I had the lamb shanks, main size but could've just had the entree as I ended up with two huge shanks! So serving sizes seem to vary depending on which dish you order.

The food was pretty good, one of my shanks was perfect and the meat just fell away from the bone, although the other was a bit chewier. Dessert was great, recommend the sticky date pudding! and coffee was good quality. Prices were pretty reasonable for the food, it's the wine list that will hit the hip pocket. Overall, we'd be happy to go back.

We have been here a few times (big group, small group and as a couple) and have not been disappointed yet. The food is always fantastic and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely recommend the salt and pepper squid for an entree, but not as a main as the size was a tad small when I ordered it as a main. Nice wine selection as well.
