I recommend this family run restaurant to everyone, as the food is delicious, cheap and it's very unpretentious. The ginger beer and coffee are also great. They could up the ambience a bit.

I once recommended this restaurant to someone who worked in the area, and they said, "But that's African!" Probably a good thing that some have this attitude to African food, otherwise, this place would give Rama's a run for its money and us locals would not be able to walk in on a whim.

This family have made this such a warm and comfortable place to eat (my little girl even runs with their little boy out to the kitchen). After the meal (meat or vego), do not miss the ice cream and Ethiopian coffee.

I have had several very lovely meals here and the service is always friendly and helpful! The variety of options (Vegan, vegetarian, gluten free) makes it a great place to take a group of people with different eating preferences.

The dessert section is a selection of home-made ice-creams none of which have disappointed thus far! The home made ginger beer is also delicious!

We went in a party of seven and had a banquet. There was a huge amount of choice within the banquet, especially vegetarian options. Everyone enjoyed the injera. Our waitperson was very helpful explaining the features of each dish. The decor is a little daggy but it is a suburban restaurant after all, and the food more than makes up for it.

This place is fantastic, the food delicious, the staff very friendly (although sometimes hard to find on a quiet night). The staff are very helpful with questions about the menu and really want you to enjoy yourselves. Plenty of food and very good value. Yet to try dessert but the icecreams look yummy.

A fine ethiopian dining place. Injera's are nice but not the best, as there is no Teff available in Australia. The kitfo was OK but Cafe Lalibela in Melbourne does a better kitfo. The coffee ice cream was excellent and the mosob was well done.
The wait staff were nice and assisted in planning the dinner. Well done ...
