My favourite restaurant in Canberra. The staff are attentive and exceptionally helpful, to the extent that when I went my second time and was trying to choose a wine they remembered what I had last time (which was no longer available) and recommended another similar wine, which was fantastic.

The food is excellent, they have a lovely core menu complemented by lots of specials which change regularly. I would normally only have two courses at a restaurant, but at Embers I can never decide which to skip.

If you want to be pleasantly surprised by the unpretentiousness of one of Canberra's nicest restaurants I'd recommend you go along.

Some of the best food we have eaten in Canberra! Awesome oysters, Duo of duck was superb and the barramundi was the best my husband had eaten! Desserts are home made and delicious as well.

Walked in for breakfast at what has become one of our preferred dinner venue and was blown away by the exceptional Eggs Benedict. The egg yolks were like a Cable Beach sunset, exceptional. Please I want to go back for more.

I Love this restaurant! My new favourite. My partner and I have eaten both dinner and breakfast there on separate occasions. Every meal we have had was brilliant!
Great service. Very friendly and helpful! I don't understand how anyone could say a bad word about this restaurant. Delicious!

I enjoyed this little cafe in Belconnen. The views of the lake were pretty, the staff were attentive and worked very hard, but mostly I loved the food. It was yummy like really good home cooking. You could tell the ingredients were fresh the flavors were subtle. I'll go back for sure.

Wait staff were useless. Meal was not cooked to order. Had to remind waitress 4 times about drinks. Was sat at a pokey little table right next to the toilet. Overall a very disappointing experience considering how good I had been told this place was.

Went for dinner on a thursday night, soon as we we walked in we were promptly shown to our table which looked over the lake. Service was great food and the choices were a plenty walked out very happy and satisfied.
