An amazing restaurant in a restaurant-dire area. Does brekky, lunch and dinner. Brekky is fabulous and a must for anyone looking for quality food and amazing coffee. Dinner also great with gourmet pizzas (some really nice flavour matching including potato and sage with prosciutto). Modern Australian mains also very good.
Great wine selection too and lovely ambience.

For my husband and I, Ellacure has firmly become our favourite local restaurant since its opening last year. The quality and taste of the food benefits greatly from the one-page menu, which ensures the freshness of products used. The wine menu has been carefully thought out and compliments the food well. And the service, well it's fantastic and good-humoured. Gus and the guys know us by sight and always go out of their way to ensure we have a good night out. It's a restaurant that goes back to the basics of what makes a restaurant excellent and gets it right on all points.

On a different note, I'm not sure why Ellacure is listed here as a Tapas bar. I've never seen Tapas on the menu there, it's more of a mix of modern Italian/Australian fare.

Good 'modern aussie' food with no fuss service. I had a chicken burger/pannini thing which was tasty. The wait staff have a bit of sass but I like that. The coffee was good too. Menu is a little pricey, but that's no exception in Canberra.
