The stand-outs here were the friendly service and inventive menu. Given the surliness of the staff at most Canberra restaurants and cafes, Digress was a breath of fresh air. The food was fabulous too, and there were plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. The decor is also interesting and the ambience comfortable and stylish. The drinks menu features cocktails and mocktails, which is also a plus for someone who doesn't drink alcohol. We'll be back!

Unfortunately, Digress did not live up to its reputation. We ordered the banquet meal and did not get nearly enough food. When questioned, we were told that we could ask for more food. The extra food took 20 minutes to arrive and was not suitable for a work lunch. Digress should also check their menus as the 10" pizzas looked closer to 4".

Indian/Italian fusion, can't believe the day has come! Fusion cuisine, never would've taken my fancy until I tried Digress. What an addition to Canberra! Tandoori Chicken Penne was absolutely delicious, not to mention the stuffed naan bread, amazing! If you ever out and about in the city and need a good place to dine, give Digress a go!

I feel like I have been waiting all my life for someone to combine the cuisines of Italy and India and it has been worth the wait. Had dinner for the first time at Digress last night. I had the Tandoori Chicken Penne and my friend had the Red Devil Vindaloo Pizza different, delicious, beautifully presented and great service. Highly recommended. Can't wait to return and try some of the other specialties very intriguing menu indeed!
