Fantastic laksa. Best in Canberra and indeed better than anything in Sydney too. We also appreciate the half-size laksa which is great for a lunch-sized meal. To be honest we've never got past the laksa so can't say much about the rest of the menu. The place is always busy, service is quick if not particularly friendly.

Loved the Tom Yum Kung but found the Laksa too rich. The vegetable Tempura is not very authentic but tastes OK. Service is terrible; Thumbs placed in our bowls, our plates whisked away just as we swallowed our last bite, our table trampled upon a couple of times without acknowledgement or apology. The food is fine but Perhaps a take-away is a better option.

Easily the best laksa ever. In cbr on business from Sydney so most places in Canberra is comparable to eating in a country town. Even that famed chairman and yip was a huge letdown until I learnt about Dickson.

Laksa was a bit too spicy for me (even though I requested them to put less chilli oil in it). I'd go to another restaurant in dickson.

My entrée there was a dish of four spring rolls. They were burnt on the tips, the advice I got from the waitress was that it has to be burnt in order to cook the inside! I had never heard such a poor excuse, obviously, it was frozen. The laksa was good, I would go again, and they were generous with the meat topping. Not as spicy as authentic laksas though. The pad thai was also good.

The service and general atmosphere was bordering atrocious. The three waitresses never smile at you, never say welcome, never say bye. They don't even say "here you go" when giving you the food, they pop it on your table and dash off, even though they're not busy (80% of the restaurant was empty).

For most of my meal, two of them sat at guest tables with their backs towards all their patrons, eating lunch and chatting away. The third waitress sat at another guest table, near the entrance to the toilet, wrapping dumplings with her bare hands. When guests left, this waitress handled cash at the counter, returned dirty dishes to kitchen, then without washing hands resumed dumpling making! It's already extremely unpleasant to have staff make food in the guest dining area, but to see them do that without washing hands after handling cash was not acceptable. I wanted to try their dumplings, but couldn't.

Great Laksa, best in Canberra. Ambience is nothing special but service is quick and friendly. Fantastic for a quick meal.

My wife and I ducked in for a quick lunch on 28 June 2010. Seafood laksa tasted good. Quite generous with prawns. Would have been better if they had used thick cylinderical rice noodles instead of a mixture of fine rice noodles and yellow noodles. A garnish of Vietnamese mint and a small dollop of chilli sambal would have enhanced the flavour. The spicy hot cha kway teow with shredded pork, chicken and vegetables was yummy. Staff were pleasant and spoke fluent English.

Can't go wrong here for a quick meal. Maybe the laksa does have MSG in it, but it is to die for nonetheless. Best laksa I've ever had.

Was great a few years ago before they got too ambitious and expanded their business. Laksa's now taste like they are pumped with MSG's. Several better options in Dickson.

Best noodles/laksa in Canberra, excellent take away too. Does a roaring trade so busy at peak times.
