A great place to eat. Always busy, and for very good reasons. The food is wonderful, the prices reasonable and the service is outstanding. Waiters and waitresses have a personality, engage you in conversation, and make sure your meal is enjoyable by being unobtrusively attentive. A definite winner.

Work Christmas party - Disaster! 1 hour wait for a bowl of olives on the table! 1hour 10 minutes for plates of bread! 2 and a half hours for mains, which arrived in an avalanche. No apologies without complaints - "we are busy tonight" They had our booking well in advance and should have put more staff on in that case - actually they had no trouble getting food the the large table being hosted by an ambassador next to us! We had people leaving before the mains arrived because they had babysitters to get home to. Discount off the bill? Not until the screws were applied. This was after a very bad brunch experience where chips were substituted for hashbrowns in the "Hashbrown Stack" without giving the opportunity to change the order, toast was burnt black (and put face down!) and we had to hassle endlessly for coffee! Cafe Delissio - a big thumbs down - never again.

Not sure what to think of this place after one visit. The menu does indeed have something for everyone, even my 5yo child who is going through a Very fussy stage. Oh and it does not have beef steak which is all my partner really wanted, and apparently the Angus Beef Salad did not fill the hole.

I could hardly decide what to order, but was happy with my meal. In fact, I couldn't eat it all, and we had not had bread or entrees. We did order edamame beans which were listed on the menu as a Starter, but they came with the mains and were inexplicably oily. A large serve though, worthy of the $6 if you like edamame.

The place was full (Sunday night) and lots of people were coming in and out in thongs, for takeaway, which made for very casual dining. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate Tasting Plate, which was too chocolatey and too large for our small party. This is not the restaurant's fault though.

Had buffet for my sons 18th. The food was good and just kept coming. Great value and the bread etc are great but love the crumbed olives.
Recommend you get a group together and try the buffet you won't be disappointed.

We recently had dinner at Delissio Curtin. As an extended family, spanning 3 generations, we were pleasantly surprised that Delissio had a deliicious something for all of us. Tasty pizzas for the kids, and beautifully prepared items such as duck, salmon and spare ribs for the adults. The staff happily accepted the birthday cake we brought along for the 6 year old, and led the whole restaurant in "Happy Birthday". That was when we realised the restaurant was full, no mean feat on a bleary winter Wednesday night in Canberra! Highly recommended.

I was very disappointed with Delissio in Curtin. After having had some amazing meals in the Braddon Delission, I took my mother, father and husband here for my mothers birthday. I had to remind the waiter for our wine, after we had eaten our entrees, my linguini and meatballs was linguini and lumpy sauce and was cold, after I inquired if I had in fact got my meal of if the order had been mixed up.

I was abruptly told that was just how it came out today, we were never asked if we wanted another bottle of wine although there was a girl standing behind the bar talking to her mates throughout our meal, as I had only eaten a few mouthfuls of my meal I was offered compensation such as dessert or some money off the bill, to only have the waiter come back and say that it could not be too much compensation.

We got two of our desserts, 15 minutes later had to remind the waiter we were waiting on a third and the restaurant was less than half full. Very disappointing and will never go back.

One of my favorite restaurants. Top quality food and creative menu. Amazing atmosphere. Try the ricotta gnocchi.
