Lovely Sis Mantar and the best zucchini balls in Canberra! As a vegetarian there are lots of things to choose from, however, my boyfriend loooves the mixed grill.

The waiter guy was really awful. He got our order wrong. After taking it back to the kitchen, he still charged us extra for his mistakeļ¼ No apologies, nothing. Do not go there, not worth the frustration.

The roti is Ok but not a patch on the legendary roti at Mamak in Sydney. We had a boring vegetarian dish and a pretty good steamed chicken with black fungus (from the specials). Rice is an extra @ $2.80 per portion. The sambal is too sweet and lacks heat. Overall not impressed.

Visited this restaurant with my partner about a week ago and had the large dinner banquet great value for money lots of food walked out of there very full. Will definitely return soon favorite things in the banquet were the beetroot dip and the chicken skewers not to mention the zucchini balls very fresh and delicious. The service was very prompt and they didn't make us feel rushed,

I found this place purely by chance and I've never been happier to find a restaurant by accident! I've found the food to be always fresh and consistent every time (I've eaten here and had take out at least a dozen times). The prices are similar to other places in Canberra but the taste is much better than most.
I am going to the Hungry Buddha regularly now and I hope that it will still be as good as ever when it becomes even more popluar. The only reason I haven't given it 10/10 is that I feel nothing is perfect but as far as food goes, they are pretty close.

This restaurant is still fairly new. And I think that the previous reviewers should return to try out the restaurant again as I really like the food, and find their service prompt and friendly. This is probably the only place in Canberra where you can get fresh Malaysian roti breads, and my kids just love watching the chef doing the roti making action.
I also like coming here for their curries, roti murtabak, stuffed with chicken, and their nasi goreng kampung-spicy fried rice with ikan bilis, (just like how mum does it). I also enjoy having the chendol and roti banana with ice cream to finish my meal. Yummmm.
