To me, Bruno's has unpredictable opening hours, but fortunately there is a place right next door which I wouldn't turn my nose up at. In fact, the only reason I go to Bruno's is for the great restrooms! I don't mean to detract, however, from the caramel/walnut pie and other great pastries.

You can't get a good coffee in Mawson for love nor money, and Bruno's is scorching and scorched. Likewise some of the staff are a little bitter. I have not found a savoury item at Bruno's to recommend to you, but get there early for your chocolate bunnies etc.

The best chocolates in canberra...actually almost equal with haighs but also pricey. the staff are quite friendly. unfortunately the coffee was terrible, quite weak and watery and the food of the menu was quite disappointing in that it was fairly flavourless
