We didn't get served for an one and a half hours, they forgot our order two separate times, they said they thought this was appropriate service. Never going here again. Ever.

First visit and overall ok. My main was over salted in a big way even the chef said it was and agreed to replace it. Good olive oil and balsamic is a must not the homebrand variety they use and not to mention the lid of the balsamic vinegar leaked every where. Great dessert. A bit on the higher end of prices. My son said it was the best spaghetti he has ever eaten.

Have been here many times and have never had a bad meal. Service is always polite and friendly. I always look forward to our regular outing to Bella Vista.

The service can only be described as excellent. We dined a couple of nights at this restaurant and each meal was very different. We were quickly seated and the waitresses , owners attentive to service and the food most enjoyable. The only criticism would be the curly, fried vegetables which tended to be a bit leathery. Some fresh steamed vegetables would have been preferred, however the remainder of the meal was superb and the dessert (tiramisu) delicious. Very generous serves particularly the desserts and value for money. Great being byo as one is not slugged a fortune for cheap wine! Enjoyed the view over the lake which added to the ambience along with the happy buzz of diners who seemed to be enjoying the evening. Will definitely return.

We went to this restaurant mid week. The service was really good. The staff were really friendly, this is one of the only restaurants I have been to where the staff actually checked to see if we needed more drinks rather than having to hail someone down. The food was average. I had the spring chicken, really it was not inspiring and I actually could have made it myself, very disappointing, especially for $32. I think this was overpriced.

Been to this restaurant a number of times and always had a good experience. Love the scallops entree. Had duck, veal and chicken on different occasions and enjoyed all of them. Never had pasta. Found the service to be efficient and very friendly. The location is pleasant with waterside views. The decor is dated but that does not worry me at all. Given the other attributes it gives it a bit of charm. Good value. Always brought BYO so cannot comment on the wine list.

I'm really surprised by the negative comments here. I've always had excellent food here, and think the lasagne is one of the best I've ever had! And the veal tortellini is a favourite with a couple of my friends. The lady with the strawberry blonde hair at the front is so lovely, she always makes you feel welcome. Will keep going here again and again.

We recently went to this place after wanting to try it out for years, and it's sad to say we were extremely disappointed. The service is slow and unhelpful and the food is average and overpriced. Won't be going back!

This is an example of what an Italian restaurant shouldn't be like. Decor and menu smack of 90s, with average greasy pasta and lasagne. No commitment to freshness and quality. Service is stuffy with a lot of mucking around. I love Italian food, but this place is disappointing.

Nice location and outlook and really very fine food too. I had an enjoyable evening there. Interesting presentation and excellent sauces and tastes.
