Was expecting big things based on friends reviews. Overall, food was good, but nothing special. Good dips, but hommus was only average. Salad nice, entrees nice, mains good but not fantastic. Not bad in terms of value, but ambience not very nice.

Alanya is one of the best Turkish restaurants in Canberra. The service is always fantastic and the staff are very attentive. I have been there numerous times and will continue to go back for more.

Every dish was perfect, and the waitress as friendly and helpful as you could ever need. A little pricey, but considering the quality of the food and the restaurant's reputation we didn't expect cheap food. Also very kid friendly.
