Went there about 2 months ago and bought seafood combo and it was tasteless n hardly any seafood in it. Never go back there again and certainly won't recommend it to anyone.

After hearing some good reviews of Viet Hoa we decided to give it a go, but that turned out to be a poor decision on our part. The meals were a good size, but very, very bland. All the ingredients were fresh, but there was just no flavour, and the restaurant itself feels like a shopping mall eatery.

The meals are cheap, but I won't be going back when there are so many other (better) restaurants in West End.

Food was fresh, with decent size serving, be seriously lacking in flavour. Crazy to think that anyone would choose this when West End Gardens is just across the road!

Very cheap asian food but it's, unfortunately, hit and miss. There is the standard selection of chinese and vietnamese meals. We had the salt and pepper ribs which were dry but acceptable, the chinese style fillet steak which tasted overmarinated, a very strong bi carb taste. Their teapots never work, leaving puddles on the table. It's also glass encased and small which very quickly means the place gets noisy at lunch and dinner.

The banquet was definitely not good value for money - probably better off buying specific meals. Service needs improvement - all aspects - wine and food. The waitresses weren't particularly interested and it took some time to get our meals even though the restaurant wasn't that busy.

You cannot beat the lunchtime specials. I do recommend the rice paper rolls (goi cuon) - a good size serve (4) at a reasonable price! Great value at lunch. Service can be a little hit and miss (the waitresses often don't understand English or Vietnamese!) but the owner is friendly and attentive.
