Brilliant. We rocked up late on a Monday night, ordered the banquet menu for 7 and were eating 10 minutes later. Service was well paced with our appetites, and friendly to boot. Simple environment but it was clean and tidy, and nice to be in. Highly recommended.

This restaurant wins the prize for the worst service. Despite our effort to inform a number of staff that we still didn't have our meals, they were unresponsive. This experience cost me 50 minutes. I truly hope it doesn't cost the owners what, otherwise, seems to be a popular business.

Had a quick meal here early last saturday night. The staff were great. The food was very fresh, and tasty. I'm not sure if the price justified the food, but we really enjoyed the meals. For the size they were surprisingly filling. Be wary of the duck curry if you don't like hot food. There are sneaky chillies in the lettuce, hidden cos they are green chillies chopped up. A real kick, but exactly what I wanted, Loved it.

As we left the restaurant was much busier and the staff seems to be getting a bit flustered, but sadly I think this was down to the full restaurant, torrential downpours, and lots of passing foot traffic getting in the way.
Will be back.

Our 2nd visit, very disappointing than our first. Party of 4, seated outside, 20 minutes later my husband had to go and ask for service to our table (menu, drinks etc). Had no lighting on or around our area, very hard to read the menu. When our first and only drinks and then meals arrived, it was back to our table being invisible.

Duck curry was not pleasant, the duck meat was cold, tough and dry, the curry was a dollop of semi pounded raw herbs/spices placed on top the duck meat. This did not impress our guests or us, especially when we had spoken of good reviews about our previous dining. Sorry, will choose to dine elsewhere.

After returning from Vietnam I had a craving for some authentic vietnamese food. I took my wife to this restaurant to celebrate her birthday and introduce her to some of the food I had been eating whilst in Vietnam. I ordered the Pho and was a little disappointed as it was not as good as the street food you would find anywhere in Vietnam. I was unable to find any of the other foods I had eaten in Vietnam on the menu. The vietnamese coffee was good though.

I recently took a group here for a work dinner. Food was tasty and fresh and the service was friendly and prompt. All diners were impressed, and our gluten intolerant guest was well taken care of. Highly recommend the Number 2 Banquet -fantastic value for money and a great variety of dishes.

I was taken here by my brother, he reported it's his favourite eatery of the moment. And it's pleasant, seats out on the footpath, similar to a range of other restaurants on Southbank, it certainly is nice to be outdoors.

The service is nice, but busy. We offered rice paper rolls, and a seafood stir-fry and spicy beef noodle soup. All the food was well-presented, flavourful, brought out in reasonable time, and presented well. It's a bit noisy, but that's par for the course in Southbank. The only thing I could say about it that it was a little on the expensive side (4 rolls for $10, and $25 for most mains), but otherwise enjoyable. Worth a try if you like outdoor dining. The food doesn't disappoint!

We had lunch here, 2 salads and a meat. Salads were refreshing as expected. We ordered the papaya salad and the calamari salad. Both could do with extra dressing, nouc cham, but still good as is. The cubed beef was very ordinary. Nice place, not so enthusiastic waiters. A very quiet Sunday afternoon. Had to wait a bit for my food.

We went here for a lunch one weekend and found it fabulous. The chicken salad was large serving and tasty with a side of scrummy prawn toast that just begged to be eaten. Service was fast and friendly. The home made lemonade was delicious and refreshing. Well worth the visit!

Have to disagree with the other review for this place. We found the food very good, the fish cakes alone were worth a return visit. The vegetable stir fry was fresh and tasty and the beef dish we had was delicious. Nice spot too, plenty of good people watching. One of Brisbane's better Asian restaurants.
