We took our kids 7,5,3 there this evening and I am so annoyed. Was over priced and if the tiger prawns in our pasta were tiger prawns they need a new supplier! Caesar salad had hardly any dressing and the pizza was so dry! We had to put sauce from the pastas on it to make it edible!

My family and I visited the Tomatoes Brothers yesterday Monday 2nd May 2011 at Wilston. This was a Public holiday so I was aware of any surcharge that may have incurred. I ordered a Chicken and Pumpkin Rissotto, my partner ordered a Seafood Marinara and the kids (8 and 10yr olds) had a large ham and pineapple pizza, we also ordered 2 tropical slushies for the kids. My bill ended up being about $80.00! It would've been ok but The Pizza was pathetic all the pineapple was thrown in the middle and hardly any cheese the Rissotto rice was not cooked properly and at the price of $22, I was disgusted. The Seafood marinara was the same deal small serving for the price you pay for. There was a couple behind us who had sent their Lasagna back due to it being still cold in the middle. I will not recommend this place to anyone. We love to eat out and this was not an experience we enjoyed especially since it was my daughters birthday. I should have read the reviews, but you have to try for yourself as everyones different.

Disgusting place. Food was terrible and staff didn't have a clue. Do Not order the banquet. It was all about them making money and not about customer satisfaction or preferences, or providing enough food for everyone. People left hungry because the food was terrible. Will Never be visiting the Wilston store again. They do not operate the same as other Tom. Bros stores we have been to. Save your money, time and have a nice birthday dinner Somewhere else!

Always great value and quick service for lunch, huge variety of pizzas to choose from.

I ordered takeaway pizza and pasta deal. The Mega BBQ Meatlovers pizza was ordinary, the Vegetarian rainforest pasta was so overpowered by pepper that it was inedible. Overpriced for what you receive, don't bother.

My friend and I had high expectations when visiting this place last night (Thurs ) for the first (and last time), very, very disappointing, from being seated in a cramped corner, despite the restaurant not being busy at all, to the utterly dreadful overpriced "gourmet" pizza cost over $25, literally dripping in oil, overuse of garlic and over salted. And, there are distasteful impressions of teeth moulds on the walls, bazaar to say the least! Not impressed, definitely would not recommend or return!

We visited as a table of fourteen and were finally served after 29 minutes when we had to call a waitress over. We ordered the banquet, thought that would be quick and easy if we all ordered the same. How wrong.

We ordered wine, after fifteen minutes and two requests, the bottle was delivered to the table and the waitress asked "would we like glasses with that". We said that would be helpful and she disappeared. Ten minutes later we went looking for her and we were told the glasses were in the dishwasher and we would have to wait. On two other occasions we had to go to the counter to ask how much longer the food would be. Several other customers were obviously dissatisfied and some left.

We asked to speak to the staff and a woman came to the table and told us that our meal was "ready to go into the oven" after one hour and fifty minutes. With only one course having been served, we would wait no more! We went across the road to Domino's pizza which we wished we had done in the first place.

We visited on a saturday night, the service was great, the beer of the month was a German pilsner for $5 which I was very happy with. I had the gourmet supreme pizza and was disappointed. The base was an excellent wood fired, crisp with semolina, like a traditional Italian base, which I love. The topping however wrecked it, too much Spanish onion, too much marinated red pepper, too much sauce, definitely not Italian style.

I have been before at lunch for the $10.95 lunch special and had the isle of capri pizza and loved it. I am guessing that the person who made my gourmet supreme needs another pizza making lesson.

Sorry, but this was utterly dissapointing. On a quiet Sunday night, there were almost more staff than customers - you would think that service would happen quite quickly. Definitely not the case. We had to wait almost 20 minutes for somebody to take our order, then another 30 minutes for our drinks! It would have probably been more if we hadn't walked up to the counter for service as the waiters were more interested in 'hanging out' in the kitchen.
The poor services is most probably a result of the age of the wait staff being around 15yrs old.

The pizza was definitely un-satisfying, and overpriced. I would liken the pizza to a near resemblance to pizza hut or Eagle Boys, rather than a gourmet pizza parlour.
Note - it takes more than adding Chorizo to your supreme pizza to make it gourmet! Pizza bases were way too thick. Sorry, not impressed and will definitely not revisit.
