Absolutely fantastic! Best Indian food in Brisbane. Highly recommend this venue. Wonderful meals, beautiful ambiance and a lovely owner.

Very ordinary food. Never buy their voucher, they will never be happy to honour it. They are rude. There are far better Indian restaurants in Brisbane. The management has changed recently and this one is absolute insult to service industry. Complete waste of time and money, if you still decide to go, don't have your expectations too high!

I've been eating at the restaurant just tonight. We had an Ouffer Voucher offering two mains, two desserts and a bottle of wine. Due to the rain we were driving and wanted to change the bottle of wine to two non-alcoholic drinks which seemed to be fine but was not fine anymore when we wanted to leave. We had to pay the two drinks (11 bugs!) and were not allowed to take the bottle of wine! The service was really bad in this context! Furtermore the espresso asked was a normal coffee with a bad taste. The food was ok but not the best in Brisbane. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant at all.

There are at least 5-6 Indian restaurants in New Farm (probably a bit too many.) In my opinion, Tandoori King is the best of them all, closely followed by Mehfil.

One of TK's strong points is the wide variety of unusual, seldom-seen curries on the menu. Of course they have all the standard Indian favourites (butter chicken, etc), but it's the wide variety of other curries that make this place a winner. I've been going there regularly for years and I still don't think I've tried everything on the menu.

The only (slight) negative is that the building's acoustics aren't very good and if the place is busy it can get quite noisy. But I'll certainly keep going back, this is my favourite Indian restaurant in Brisbane.
