We went there for a quiet dinner to celebrate an occasion, but it was spoiled by the awful experience at Santos. Though the food was ok, but not more than a side cafe who would serve at 1/4 of the price.

The service does not even match McDonalds. The staff were rude and arrogant. First it took them 10 minutes to greet us on the table and bring menus, and then the lady was back on us 3 times within 5-6 minutes to order entrees and mains.

Drinks came in after the entrees had arrived and then the mains were kept on the table while we were still eating the entrees. We were third time lucky to get the water which was ice cold in a winter evening of 9 degrees and she arrogantly said, this is the only water they had. We returned the water but were still charged 6.95 for the bottle and were forced to pay.

The mains were just ordinary and no where near the price tag. At the end without clearing our dishes, the waitress was upon us to get us buy the desserts, which obviously we did not have after having such an experience. The senior staff who was at the cashiers till did not want to know much about it, and blushed us off with arrogance, saying that they are the best restaurant in the area and he is very pleased with the service they provide. What a pathetic answer. We are not going back and will ensure to pass this on to all our friends

I have a business in Albany Creek and use Santos Restaurant to take my clients to for a cup of coffee, or for a sit down meal and drinks. I have no complaints and I am very happy with the experience of eating at Santos.

It is no dearer than the other Restaurants in the Albany Creek area, Coffee Club and Portabella. I use those restaurants as well and they are also ok but each has their own characteristic.

Rochelle is the lady in charge of the eating area and she is very nice and looks after everyone and she also remembers everyone and welcomes them back as old friends. Santo does the Pizzas himself and tells me that all ingredients are fresh.
Try the Pizza Cacciatore, it is my favourite.

Wonderful. The food is magnificant. My favourite food used to be Mexican, but now it's Santo's Italian food!. Thank you for opening up my world to Italian food.

Meals were way overpriced, eg chicken filo was $28 and I could have got better at a coffee shop for a third of the price! Lasagne was burnt and a teeny tiny pizza for $22. I was very disappointed with the quality of the food.

Service was no better with the rude waitress pushing us to order drinks, entree and mains within minutes of being seated. Would have been nice to read the menu over a drink but this was not possible and this was with a 7pm booking on a quiet night. Kinda got the feeling they just wanted us to order, eat and pay so they could have an early night.

I will never go there again and would not recommend this place to anyone!

Have been visiting this restaurant for a number of years but unfortunately of late the dinning experience has not been one that I could recommend. This is disappointing as I can recall the earlier times when there was nothing but positive things to report.
