The best way to describe this restaurant is average. Average food, Average service and Average atmosphere. The only thing not average was the price. Expensive for a small suburban restaurant (cafe).

The best Japanesse resto in Brisbane, never been other places nicer than this.
Love all the dishes, very authentic Japanese food. Friendly and helpful service.
Reasonable price. The only matter is the place not really comfy and no ambience.
above all, we'll come back.

Well done in skill and style.

Service was quick and friendly.

Could do with a thorough cleaning and more attention to details? Cleanliness of establishment can down play any food and make you wonder. But the food did seem fresh, and dishes were clean. The skill of the chef is definitely diminished when cleanliness is questionable.

I'd go back as it was really well done sushi which I haven't found elsewhere in Brisbane

Once again Brisbane restaurants are double the price of any other major world city, but it was good value for Brisbane.

The food was very good, and we were seated out the back in a pleasant room, however, I have never experienced worse service, anywhere, ever.

15-20 minutes for a glass of water, forgotten entrees, mains brought out in an astonishingly sporadic fashion. 45 minutes elapsed between the first main being served and the last.

Completely unacceptable anywhere and at those prices simply appalling.

Food is authentic and interior is Japanese traditional. We've been going there for years and never once we were disappointed. Slightly expensive but compared to other Japanese restaurant, you definitely get what you pay.

We got there relatively early at 7 pm and it was a good idea as we were served quickly and later on while we were eating we noticed a few people who's bookings had been lost and were getting quite angry with the staff. Our experience was great though, quick service and delicious food. We ordered the Sukiyaki as a main and it was great!

I highly recommend. My only concern was it was a little more expensive than I thought it would be, because of this I don't think I'll be there eating there every week but I'll definitely come back for the great food! Also the ambience left a lot to desire with fluorescent lighting and plastic chairs. However, this didn't particularly bother me as everything else was great. Good place to take a group to share meals.

Fairly cheap, super quick service, huge menu, so you can go fully authentic and have super Japanese meal of sushi, sashimi or for the more timid eater, you can enjoy a great Teriyaki beef with rice. The dishes are fresh and brought to you very quicky from the kitchen. They have a wide range of sake to try and plenty of Japanese beers.

This is a great place for experienced Japanese eater and the new beginner who wants to try something other than california roll. The meals are wonderfully presented and its a great place to go with a group and try a few new things. Make a booking though as they are very popular.

Best Jap food I have had in Brisbane. The raw beef entree is fantastic, melt in your mouth! Good service, great food. Highly recommended.

Best Japanese food that I have had in Australia. Sushi is the freshest I have tasted and perfectly sized, teriyaki beef is tender and melt-in-the-mouth. Restaurant was a little bit cold and lacked ambience but the food and service make up for it. Definitely worth a visit.
