We waited an hour for our food to come out, the main meals came out 10 minutes in between. The service was atrocious! If you aren't shy to raise your hand they will never serve you. The food was dry and not worth the money. This is the worst restaurant I've ever been to. Please save your money and time!

If you like eating in a big shed, with a main road only metres from your table, this is the place for you. The food (mainly steaks) was good and of good size. The service though slow to start with but was good and cheerful, though we had to chase drink orders on a couple of occasions. The meals came out in a good time. The prices were quite high considering this is only a 'Pub' venue.

What you see is what you get. Big large open pub style steakhouse, where the cacophony of noise either adds or detracts from the experience there. The food is tasty, plentiful, and generally good value. Everything typical for a good quality steakhouse. Service was good, and even though it was packed at lunchtime we were still served promptly.

The ambience is that of a pub, bustling and loud, but great food especially the steaks.

Very noisy, difficult to hold a conversation unless you are sitting on the same chair together! Portions huge so better to chose entrees, the loaf of bread with dips was enough to fill us up. Service friendly but not always prompt. As pub food it is good. Men's loos are a talking point!

I rated this a 7 all round, you would not go here looking for a quiet intimate meal, so knowing it is a large pub style venue, steak and salad etc. It is great value and just as it promotes itself. More aligned with the younger crowd these days. PS, Men, check out the toilets, they are a talking point, with a great gimmick !!

My family and I came here for my 23rd, hoping for a not quite gourmet but still very quality and enjoyable steak restaurant, and that's what we found. The restaurant is a large open room that, at the time was closed up (as it was winter) and is attached to the bar and pub portion of the establishment.. so it's by no means quiet, but a very nice mood for a larger party.
The food was in generous-sized servings and all arrived at the same time - although the Well Done steaks were apparently still a bit too red for some people's liking, but for most I think they'd be perfect. Served with both a salad/vegetables and a potato dish, we found the coleslaw and chips to be the best, even if most conventional, option. I had a side of garlic prawns as well, which, for $8 for about 6 prawns, isn't something I'd get again, however they came sitting in a boat of garlic sauce that was fantastic with the steak... the side portion of mushrooms though looked very substantial so is probably better value. The salmon which several people had also looked very good, and although it's not stated on the menu, came with the option of lemon sauce instead of the other choices, as we were informed when we ordered.
The service was probably a little less than I'd have expected considering we were seated smack in front of the reception desk... and we had to wave down a waiter to take our order. However when a late party member arrived their order was taken quite promptly (and also arrived simultaneously with the rest). Overall we found it very enjoyable, with very appetizing food and a social atmosphere.

Not being a local, we went to the Regatta Boatshed, apparently well known to people in Brisbane but not us. This place was an absolute gem, the food while not being fancy was absolutely first rate.
I had the oysters Kilpatrick and the rib eye fillet, and my partner and the bangers and mash. Everything came out hot, fresh, delicious and surprisingly large portions . The desserts did not disappoint, we make a point to go there at least once a month now had yet to have a bad meal.
The only downside is the cavernous interior makes it a little noisy, and don't go there if you want an intimate evening.

Fantstic steak, great vibe, located across from the river, undercover but opened up to allow breeze to come in . We had a great night and food was good. A bit weird when it came to using the mens. You'll have to see it for yourself lol
