Raphael's Restaurant provides exceptional food & service Tuesday - Saturday. Offering the finest in modern Australian Cuisine, we source local produce and use local staff. Mains $21-$29, with your choice of steak, chicken, lamb, fish, pork and vegetarian. Any of the meals can be served gluten free. Just ask our friendly staff. We also have seafood platters hot/cold for 1/2. Open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-3pm for coffee & cake. Lunch 11.30am-2pm. Dinner Wednesday-Saturday from 6pm. Bookings are recommended so that we can reserve your table.

We dined at this restaurant mid week and there were only two other tables dining during the night. The time between meals was perfect and the service given by the young girl running the floor was spot on. The food from entree to desert was exceptional and exceeded our expectations.

Value wise, the prices were good given the quality and taste of food although the desert I felt was a smidgen overpriced. The menu was simple and perfect length and my only complaint with the restaurant is we couldn't eat everything on the menu as it all looked delicious! We will be back.

Can't say we will be going back, not while the so called waiter is employed there. This gentleman was extremely rude and our party of 4, celebrating a 26th wedding anniversary was shocked by his attitude and rude demeanour. This would never have been tolerated when Rick owned the restaurant and present owners should take note that this gentleman is more suited in a boys boarding school dining room than a 5 star resteraunt with paying clients. We certainly will not be going back anytime soon.

This review was written nearly 2 years ago. Raphael's is now in a new location with a new menu & new staff who provide excellent customer service.

The food was beautiful like always, the rooms set up beautiful as always the pianist was good. The head waiter, cracked silly remarks at times completely not called for his humor was not our sort of humor. The head waiter and a waitress had a discussion about our table just near us and included finger pointing, must say that was extremely off putting, however, the food was nice. The White chocolate and baileys cheese cake was nice but could not taste any Bailey!! $10.00 a bottle for corkage it also expensive even for fine dining.

This place is excellence all over, food, atmosphere, service all great. If you like desserts this is the place to go. It is even BYO just to cap it off.
