Raj's Palace menu offers wide selection of Indian favorites, classical and futuristic foods. We accomdate upto 60 people with inside or outside dinning options available. Its a wonderful venue for christmas parties, family groups, corporate dinning and romantic nights. The people who have tasted the food of Raj's palace came out the word magic.

I found this place through this website and I must say I wasn't disappointed. The food had an interesting array of spices not found in most Indian restaurants. It was absolutely beautiful, the butter chicken was the best I've ever tasted.
The service was excellent and the staff, including the lady manager was very friendly. Will be back again. Book early this place is popular!

The vindaloo, korma and butter chicken whilst delicious seemed to blend into one another without the distinctive tastes each dish should typically have, definitely a downside. As with most Indian restaurants the portion sizes are small, there aren't enough pieces of meat, the waiters are untrained and clumsy and there are peculiar rules such as you can't take home what is left of your banquet (which you have paid for in full).
The dessert was equally disappointing, one golf sized gulab jamun per person which was microwaved and, therefore, chewy. Claims by the restaurant that it uses the best cuts of meats are also not evidenced.

Just came to this restaurant for the first time and we love it. We had dinner here for friend's farewell. We had a lovely banquet everything was just perfect. Love the meat samosa, really enjoyed our main courses, chicken spinach is always my fave indian dish, and the gulab jamun dessert was excellent. Friendly and pretty quick service. The location is really easy to find from the city or other suburbs.

I would highly recommend Raj's Palace to anyone who wants to experience fantastic indian food in Brisbane. I just moved to Brisbane couple of months ago, and Raj's Palace is one of the best indians restaurants I have tried out, and trust me, I have tried quite a few!
I am a huge fan of Raj's Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Biryani but I have also tried and recommend the Dhal and Lamb Spinach! I look forward to trying out more dishes during my stay here.
Raj and his wife are very friendly people, and Raj is a fantastic and jolly good chef. Rahul - the head waitstaff is rocking guy, and he will make your stay at Raj's palace very comfortable.
What was surprizing was that everyone I have met around East Brisbane/ Kangaroo Point know and speak very highly of Raj's Palace, So I would recommend you to go down to Raj's Palace and give it a shot!

I took my friend here as a treat for helping me move recently. We were starving! We ordered the spinach pakoras, Bhuna Gosht (Yum!), and a spinach and cheese naan with some saffron rice. My friend doesn't like hot food and they brought out some red chilli and a chilli chutney for me in separate ramekins so I could add it to my food as I desired which I thought was a nice touch. The food was divine and the people were friendly. We would be happy to go there again.

Raj's Palace is the best Indian food we have had in Brisbane, the Goan fish curry is as succulent as they come and Raj and his cooking staff take every dish to the next level. Ask for Raoul if he's working and he will recommend a meal you will want to come back for again and again. Do not overlook this restaurant next time you are looking for great Indian food with a caring and dedicated staff.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and the food has always been great. The fault here lies with the staff that seems to change on every visit. One time I was brought the wrong drink, another time a waiter shattered a wine glass on my table. But the last visit really got my goat. My partner and I decided to order the Banquets (3 courses of a variety of their dishes).
Everything was going great until my partner started to have a violent allergic reaction to something in the food. She said she would be fine and she just wanted to go home. I asked the waiter if we could get all the food takeaway. He went to see his senior staff and he came back and said "I'm sorry sir, these dishes are much dearer if you buy them take-away, we will have to charge you an extra $10".
I tried to reason with them in the fact that we didn't come here to purposely find an excuse to get this food at a cheaper price for take-away. They wouldn't budge and so I paid the money. After that they had the audacity to ask if my partner would be ok. I for one will never set foot in this morally disgusting restaurant again.
Response from Management:
Dear Reviewer,
1. Though apologised earlier, we again are extremely sorry for the bad service of our trainee staff.
2. For the convenience of the customers, the menu clearly states the ingredients of each curry. We are always considerate of our customers allergies.
3. Unfortunately, we don't give the banquet as a take away, but in an effort to help our customers at any cost and provide them with good service, we charged $10 as the cost of the containers required to pack the banquet (as it has 4 curries, raita, dessert, salad, naan and starters!)
4. we are thankful for your appreciation for the food we serve...
Thanks.
