This place used to be good, but has changed hands seemingly several times in the last two years and deteriorated markedly. The shop is now very dirty (just look at the tiles when you walk in).

The staff can hardly speak english, and are pretty off-hand, even allowing for the fact that it's basically just a snack bar. The food still seems fresh, except for the deep fryer oil which must be about 3 months old but is often not properly cleaned any more.

This is basically a take-away place but there are a few seats here if you wish to sit in and eat. It's not a restaurant, more a basic style to eat in.

The food is stunning. The sushi is creative, has exceptional quality of ingredients and skill from the cooks. There are quite a few options and this is not a basic sushi place, the combinations include crab and seafood, fish roe, avocado and even some warm creamy sauces. It's best eaten with a fork or chopsticks rather than by hand mostly.

It's better value if you eat with more than one person as you can try a different one each. They seem pricey at about $7-10 for a single roll, but they are huge and full of ingredients and one to one and a half can fill you well enough (I find I can eat 2 as it tastes so good). Maybe $16 is a good budget to fill you up, so it's not too bad, especially as it's such good quality.

The service is friendly and polite, it takes about 20 minutes to get the order ready so if you want the deluxe rolls ring ahead and pick them up later. Not traditional rolls all of them but there is usual sashimi etc as well. Well worth trying for a nice lunch take away or dinner take away. Tasty!
