Lovely for a few drinks on a beautiful day with friends. Just normal pub fare as food so best to keep expectations real.

Haven eaten here a few times in the past few months and can now say I won't be back. I love my steak and after three times of being served overcooked steak (I like mine medium rare and always comes medium - well), I've had enough. As it advertises itself as a 'Steakhouse' you've got to get this right!

Service is atrocious (how dangerous is it to walk up those steep stairs with your food!) and 'ambience' on the deck with wobbly tables and cheap chairs is a bit of a miss. A nice space which could be done up a lot better. Definitely more a drinking venue than an eating one.

Good beer garden and atmosphere on a Sunday arvo. Ample selection of beers both on tap and by the bottle. Disappointing steaks. Mushroom sauce tasted more like Gravox and the meat was drowned in it, ask for it on the side if you try it. Staff on a busy Sunday were good at clearing empties but slack on a quiet Thursday night. Overall good experience, but there's better steak houses around.

This pub is one of the best in Brisbane. The food is tremendous, service great and overall standard of the hotel excellent. Have eaten the steaks there on a number of occasions and each time it seems to get better. Well done Plough Inn. This spot is worth visiting.

Went to the Plough Inn for lunch on Monday 29th. Ordered a drinks fairly quickly and took a seat on the deck upstairs overlooking Southbank and the city. There is no table service here.

Ordering food was much more of a hassle than it should've been. When waiting to order food, there was only one person in front of us waiting to order, but the staff were only concerned with serving people who had ordered and were picking up food. The place is seriously understaffed, and subsequently the staff are frustrated and clearly cannot handle the resultant pressure. As mentioned in another review, there is no communication between staff at the establishment.

It took us 20 minutes just to order a plate of $7.95 chips. They were ready to pick up 35 minutes later, minus aioli dipping sauce because they'd run out! No discount or apology. Chips were great though. Nobody cleaning up tables and tables full of dishes everywhere!

Great Pub, The steaks are sensational and the smoked ribs out of this world. Great value for excellent food and great views of the city .

Had a great steak there last night Friday March 19th as good as places charging alot more but yes it is a pub.
