Service - Average. Depending on how busy they are, my partner & I usually go on the Friday night, probably their busiest night. Whilst you are greeted relatively quickly at the door - they take a little while before they come to get your order, even after you have given them the wave, smile etc to get the waiter's attention.

We ordered a small pizza, large carbonara pasta, grilled octopus salad. The small pizza was extremely small & not worth $20 - try $15 or less. Pizza was ok - nothing that you couldn't get anywhere else for a lot less. Usually the Neopolitana is a safe bet. The seafood pizzas are a bit tasteless, oily & to cheesy. Carbonara was average. By far the best of the menu is the grilled octopus salad which I recommend. It is flavoursome, delicious! It has marinated grilled octopus, rocket, fetta, capsicum, artichokes, eggplant with a balsamic dress. Whilst the grilled octopus salad is the best on the menu - depending on who's making it the grilled octopus may be too overdone or oversteamed prior to them grilling it and also depending on what fetta they use - the fetta that they used recently was very bland.

This place is good if you're in the city wanting a bite & somewhere where you can talk and enjoy the city.

Food was average. The chicken in my pasta was cut up into perfect little square pieces. It was obviously one of those restaurants that makes via a formula. Not enough veges in it - it was all about the pasta. I was extremely underwhelmed by this place and won't be going back.

Wow! I'm a fan! We had actually just gone down to the Riverside and I didn't like the look of anything down there (and was a little grumpy cos we couldn't get in to Aria) so we were just walking back up towards the mall. We had tried the place across the road and were told the kitchen was closed (it wasn't yet 8.30) and the one next to the pub and a very standard "I'm trying to be trendy" menu so we picked Picasso's by default.

I was expecting a La Porchetta type italian bistro type experience and wasn't I surprised. They had no problem taking our order at 8.30, the service was incredibly quick, friendly, helpful and professional. Then the food came out. Ohmigod! I could eat there every night of my life and never get tired of it. I generally try to order things I can't do at home myself and boy if I could cook like this I'd open my own place!

Even my partner who is strictly a steak and 3 veg kinda man loved it. I had trouble choosing just one thing so I will definitely have to keep going back to try everything on the menu. In a word, amazing! We loved it!

I ate at Picasso's tonight and was extremely disappointed. The menu looked delicious, and for $20 for a small pizza I was expecting something exciting. However, the pizza was awful and left me wishing I ate at Subway around the corner. I suspect the pizza base had been frozen and reheated, because it was cold and doughy while the top was brown.

The staff were unfriendly and looked like they couldn't wait for their shift to end. I had a look into the kitchen and everything appeared to be pre-made. If you are thinking about eating here, I'd recommend picking up a frozen pizza from the supermarket instead, you'll save yourself a lot of money.

Had a bad experience here, worst service I've had in a long time. Ordered (very specifically) a pizza without nuts as I am allergic to them. The waitress even checked with the kitchen when I ordered to make sure it was ok. When the meals came out I had eaten about 4 mouthfuls before finding a whole pile of pinenuts.

I took it back to the kitchen and asked for a replacement, pointing out they were lucky I didn't have a life-threatening allergy. I finally received my replacement meal 20 minutes later, however I was charged the full (and very expensive) $20 for a small pizza. Even after discussing how bad my experience had been there, the waiter merely stated, "we are all human and all make mistakes. As long as you enjoyed your meal".

I did have a reaction and was left with welts on my face to show for it. I will never eat there again, and want to warn others with allergies of their complete disregard for their customers' well being.

Have eaten here several times - lunch service is slow, but meals are usually quite good. I had one pasta meal that tasted like it was out of a jar but the pizzas are sensational. Other pasta meals have been quite good.

This would have been the worst meal I have eaten in Brisbane. The platter we ordered must have been cooked at lunchtime and recooked at dinner, seafood was over cooked, burnt and certainly not fresh. Appalling and staff just shrugged when we said this was dreadful meal.
