Understood that we didn't have a booking, 1 hour will be fine I said, knowing the quick service and good food. We have given our repeat business. All the waiting patrons invaded our personal space. The wait staff recognised this and said it would be fixed, no action. Went to pay only to be told, "I could see you were frustrated". Again no action, this was insult to injury.

We went for dinner and only had a hour. Told this to the waitress, and she said this would be fine, yet one of our dishes (the pork belly) did not arrive. We asked for the bill and she insisted that we pay for the pork belly as it was being cooked. Also, the menu said sangria 12 and 24 (I think) with no definition on size. We assumed that the carafe the waitress recommended was $24, but when the bill came it was $50. It also was a pommegranate sangria which tasted weird! Saying all of that the find itself was sensational so I would return, but next visit we will allow more time and will pay more attention to the prices on the menu, as it is not good value.

Great food, with rapid service. The wine recommendations from the staff were spot on. Looking forwards to going back.

We have made Peasant our new local restaurant. Every time we eat there the staff are always welcoming and warm. The new menu has a really livened things up as well, especially the suckling pig special they have on Sundays. Love the sangria and love the food! We will continue to keep coming as often as possible.

The above score is unfair, I am the first to admit it! We ate here on their second night in operation but they obviously had quite a few bugs still to work out. The wait staff did not know how to use their handheld ordering machines so we had to wait a long time for the order to be even taken.

The food when it came out was fine althrough the potato and cauliflower salad had no potato. The wait was long and we didn't get our garlic bread at all. The best thing though is the wine list. All Spanish, Portuguese and South american wines. Great descriptions and good value.
