Ok, so pizza at 10 pm on a Friday after drinks when the place is about to close. We order our pizza and are the only people in the restaurant. We order takeaway but when it comes out we sit at one of the (very casual) tables outside. Anyway, Ms Hospitality 2011 comes sprinting out to tell us if we want a table it's extra. Practically shooed us away with a broom. Very school-marm about it, kind of felt like I had been caught smoking in the toilets. Warm and fuzzy, right?

One of my least favourite restaurants in Brisbane. Food is so heavy and greasy I feel sick after eating only a couple of slices of pizza. Smells musty/gross! waiter tried his best and was polite. Saw a rat running around up the back near their outdoor toilet. Servings are huge and so filling so I guess its value but you can't eat much.

I love Panchos Pizza especially the Queenslander Pizza. I have moved to the north side of town and have been trying to find a pizza I love as much but haven't so I travel to other other side of town to go to Panchos Pizza. I have also found that service has always been great.

Ordered a takeaway was told 15 mins 30 mins later it was ready. Some chick tells me there's been a problem with the oven. Even though I've already spoke to two guys who don't mention that. Get the pizza home and it's completely burnt to a crisp. I ring back to speak to the manager and guess what he/she is just too busy to speak to a customer. Some kid who they leave on the phone to deal with the complaint tells me if I leave my number I might get a call back. Oh and if I want to drive back I can pick up a fresh pizza! I'm so disappointed and will never eat there again. Usually eat fortnightly but this business does not care about their customers and can and do serve up second rate food.

Went to Panchos last Sat night, had fantastic pizza, tandoori chicken, great flavour. Partner had calzoni, huge meal and soooo tasty! Service very friendly and efficient, and prices very reasonable. Great casual place in a trendy area, try it you will love the pizzas!

I have ordered Pancho's take away too many times to count over the last three years. The one time there was a problem with the order the owner not only refunded the cost of the pizza, but then delivered another one for free at a later date with along with another apology. I would recommend Panchos for anyone who like good pizza heaped with topping and is excellent value for money.

Really disappointed. The last time I had been to Panchos was many years ago and it was delightful. These days the banquet-size pastas are served in tacky plastic platters, the waitresses are rude and scruffy-looking, and the place now has zero ambience. Even their famous wood-fired pizzas were underwhelming.

Oh and if you're gluten-free, don't even bother - they won't even try to make you feel welcome.

Went there for dinner last night for the first time in years and the service was very mediocre. I realise that its not a glitzy place but $18 -$22 for a pizza is not that cheap. The decor of the place was so basic, it wouldn't take much to provide some better (cleaner) seats, cutlery and tables.

The staff were friendly but they needed more. I think what really stood out for me was the music, there wasn't any! I hate to come across as a complete cynic, but I just expected more character from Panchos, our pizzas were really nice, lots of fillings (way too much cheese). In my opinion, Panchos is a fantastic take-away place, in its current state.

I have only dined in once, and I is not the preferred option. The best is to pick up all the food (which is delicious and take it home to avoid the sometimes slow service). There is no standing area to pick up your takeaway and where you are left. You are all bunched up like a line of cattle all looking at each other. Very young staff which usually don't know where your order is. Never ready to be picked up on time.

On a busy Fri night this was the only place I could get a table as hadn't booked anywhere so I had grave doubts as they didn't appear busy at all, but they were unfounded. The garlic bread filled with cheese was yummy, the pizzas were fine and always good to see a place serving different sizes. Recommend their Pancho's Salad. The large serve at $12 produced a huge bowl of lettuce, mushrooms, ham, olives, etc; too big for us to finish. And found the service both friendly and prompt. It's no Ritz but a good family place to stumble upon.
