Visited this place for dinner last Saturday night. Overall food was edible, but they should consider serving traditional Lebanese food rather than 'modernising' it. One of the things I ordered was Fattoush salad, it was a small portion for approx $11. No value or flavour. I can make a better Fattoush and I'm not Leb!

Waited 45 minutes for breakfast which was 3 serves of the mushroom caps, that never arrived. When I asked how long our meals were going to be (after 45 minutes), the staff attempted to fix an obvious stuff up by telling me I didn't order properly and rushed 1 plate of sautéed mushroom on toast to us as we were walking out the door.

I would prefer they tell the truth and own up to making a mistake. We did have some coffee, which I only got 1/2 through because how bad it was. The coffee was made worse by looking across the street at the 'campos' coffee sign at another cafe.

There was no toilet available for customers, only staff.

I was very unhappy with Cafe Marinara and won't go back. There are so many other options in paddington to get good food and service.

Don’t do it! Despite the food being lovely, I cannot believe the disgusting service my friends and I received at Libertine. When you’re paying 5 star prices at a restaurant, you expect high quality service right? Well the staff and owner of Libertine disagree. I was shocked and appalled at the attitude and behaviour of the staff and owner at Libertine. We were disappointed that firstly we weren’t told it was a two hour sitting – and why would we expect it when we’d been there before and sat at our table for a good 2.5 hours! On top of that, we were quickly ushered away when our meal wasn’t even finished, a staff member spilt a sauce on my friend’s dress, they didn’t offer dessert or any drinks once we were moved, a waiter slammed the menu’s on our table and kept walking, the bar staff proceeded to bash the crap out of several bags of ice right next to us, and when we expressed our disappointment, the staff grumpily shrugged us off and said “Fine, I’ll get you the bill”. We spoke to the owner who did not apologise, but rather came up with every excuse he could find to basically blame us (the paying customers) for our unsatisfactory evening. In all my life, I have never experienced such terrible management!

Probably the worst lunch experience I have ever had (and I did say this to the staff on my way out)! We ordered two teriyaki chicken sandwiches and a coffee. One sandwich came out with chips (which I thought was a bit odd as it didn't say this on the menu). We ate a few but they were seriously under-cooked. Then I realised the sandwich wasn't the one I had ordered at all, it was more like a chicken BLT.

I called over the staff and they tried to at first tell me it was the teriyaki. Then he asked if I had "had a bite", which I didn't think was relevant but answered "no, but I have touched it, you can't give it to someone else". He then disappeared to the kitchen and came back with "I think this is the Hana Rosa sandwich, which is much more expensive" aka "shut up and eat it you got a good deal". I was over it and just said it was fine.

Then we waited another 15 minutes for the other sandwich to come out. It was pathetic. Half of it didn't have any chicken at all. After two reminders then coffee still didn't arrive so I asked for the money back on the coffee and we left. Absolutely Awful!

I was really disappointed with the service last night at Pizeria 1889. The head waitress gave two of the waitresses a dressing-down right near our table. She was having a go at them for not putting cutlery on customers tables and telling them how "Angry!" that made her. She had a point, it was unprofessional, but so is giving the waitresses a serve in front of customers.

Overall the food wasn't great and the service was bad. I won't go there again.
