Had a scoupon type voucher, which made this dinner acceptable. Had we paid full price for the meal and drinks we would not have been happy at all.

Starters were nice, but overflavoured to the point of confusion. The mains, well, considering their size the chefs obviously love food, I just don't think they know how to properly prepare it. Chicken was dry, and my medium steak was tough and overcooked.

Desserts was passable, but not worth the expense. The only meal that I was truly happy with was the pork belly, perfectly cooked, however, the sauce was lacking depth. Far too many flavours.

This restaurant tries to be great but the food and overall service really lets it down. Stick to pouring beers, the last time I was there was just for drinks, and it was great. Close the kitchen to anything but finger food and get some more decent beers and wine and you will have a winner.

Ok been going here on and off for a while. Not happy about the services or food quality coming out of the kitchen, food was bland, service was all-round bad, it's a restaurant yeah? not sure what they want to be? a Scotch bar, a beer emporium? get sorted! don't recommend it if you want to go somewhere nice local. Try somewhere else!

Very disappointed with the food and service, bit dirty and past it's prime, way past. Place needs a good clean and fresh menu items not some made up mass. Very poor. Don't go there if you want to have lunch or dinner, they can pour a beer but who can't. Food_Finder QLD.

I went to Onyx for dinner and they have a whole new tapas menu. There are heaps more to choose from now and they are all really amazing. We had 2 towers which was just enough and finished with a delicious sticky toffee pudding! The service was great as usual and i can't wait to go back again when i am in town!

It was a very, very quiet Thursday late lunch (about 1:00 pm). We were the only ones being served and the waiter was very friendly and present (as we would expect for such a quiet lunch break).

We ordered our food and it came on time and the burger and salad were lovely. For a $19 salad, it was a very tiny serving and it's a good thing as my partner is on a diet. I understand why the price is such as I went to the toilet, I saw that there were 3 guys working in the kitchen and two guys serving at the front, all for only 2 customers.

The location is fantastic but it's a shame that there were no customers to make it a bit more lively.
