We dined at the Olive last night and were very impressed by both the food and the service. The food was delicious and plentiful and the service was excellent. Would definitely return.

Ambience = soup kitchen with tv in background for those who can't pull themselves away from the footy.

Food [degustation menu] very average. Lacked flavor, originality, presentation, and overall attention to detail to a degustation that I would normally expect. Eg. Our main was dry and lacking flavour.

Service was good although timing between courses was poorly managed. I felt as though I was in a race.

Wine menu: good.

Overall: I'm a local that won't return.
