We have dined here many times over the last few years. We are from Wagga Wagga and when we come to Brisbane we book in for a delicious meal. Never been disappointed.

One curry ordered contained only 3 pieces of meat and the rest uncooked potato. Lovely sauce no meat however. Service was horrible.

First time we went there after reading the reviews here and I agree it is pretty good Thai food! We had chicken green curry and red duck curry and were both very happy with our servings, the price and the flavour was very good, too. Recommended.

We love the food at Northern Thai. My husband will not eat Thai food anywhere else. We've been regulars at this restaurant for several years now. Yes, you do have to be careful with communication, but the staff are absolutely lovely and have never got our order wrong. The meals are well worth the dollars. You won't get the same value around the corner. AAA+++ for Northern Thai!

When we lived in Hamilton we used to eat here regularly since moving to the western suburbs we have found it harder to make up excuses to be in the north easterns suburbs for dinner. Staff are great especially with kids. The Pad Prik King is a stand out.

This is my local Thai restaurant on Racecourse Road and is pretty good for the price and location. Highly recommend the Satay Gai as an entree, and steer clear of the Tofu Tod. Looked like little bits of shortbread on first inspection then tasted like car tyres. Pretty poor that's for sure.

They tend to over season their meals so if you like salt, this place is for you. I always ask for extra vegetables in my meal, and for the $2 you get one bit of extra broccoli and two extra bits of carrot. You also need to make yourself very clear as the levels of communication between you and the staff can get difficult. Speak clearly or forever hold your peace!

Love the BYO option, and softdrinks are cheap as well as the price for the whole meal really. Always leave with paying under $45 for two people, and my partner loves this place for the basil chicken and ginger chicken.

Large portions and would recommend this restaurant for a better version of Thai in Ascot. All the other 'hoity toity' ones up the road are badly serviced, expensive and just not really worth it.

This place has really nice Thai food, my husband and I enjoy Thai food in general so I was expecting good food, but the food here was really really yummy. The decor is the norm, but the food is a standout.

Totally in love with this little restaurant. It's small and fun and the staff are lovely. The food is always good and the value of it is uncomparable. Have eaten at this restauarant more then 20 times and always feel great after..... try it. You'll love it.......
