My grandfather & grandmother starting taking me to the New Chung San early in the 1970's. I have continued to go to this exceptional family restaurant from over 30 years. The dishes are very generous and always taste excellent. In that time I cannot recall ever copping a bad meal. Nothing has changed. The food & service is exceptional.

Went to this restaurant on the basis of reading plenty of good reviews. It's an average looking building on the outside and the wipe clean table cloths inside don't give a particularly good impression.

The food came very quickly - we had to wait longer for our order to be taken and had to ask for our drinks twice as they were forgotten.

We chose the boneless lemon chicken which was ok, the sizzling garlic fillet steak which was good and the sweet & sour pork which is very good value as we were chewing on it all night! Overall a disappointing experience.

Great family run restaurant. Been going to this place for more than a decade. The food is plentiful and value for money. My favourite dishes are the salt and pepper prawns, stuffed tofu and also the hot and sour soup. Their san choi bow entree is yummy! Very friendly service. Best time to go is at Chinese New Year when they have a lion dance and fire crackers as entertainment.
