Really enjoyed this place. Great tapas. Good service. A place I would definitely go back to.

I found the staff here to be rude, the menu unrepresentative of what you get and the prices to be ridiculous. I felt like an iced chocolate. On the menu there was a drink written as "raspberry iced chocolate", I thought this might be a combination of raspberry and chocolate (given chocolate in the name), not wanting to make assumptions, I asked. Yes the wait staff told me "it's just like iced chocolate but it has raspberry as well".

When it arrived it was just cheap, disgusting tasting raspberry syrup, no chocolate. I asked the wait staff if I could have a chocolate one instead, because when I ordered the "raspberry iced chocolate" I thought there would be chocolate in it. She said that I could, but I would have to pay for two drinks. Instead they just squirted some equally cheap and non-chocolate tasting chocolate coloured syrup in my glass. And you call yourselves a dessert bar?

For a dessert bar charging dessert bar prices I'd at least expect quality syrups. As for the desserts, I didn't eat any, but they were charging $16 for what looked to be standard fare slices of cafe cakes, tiramisu, banoffee etc. I don't know for sure but they looked liked they'd been bought in from a catering company. I don't recommend this place. This is the lowest review I've ever bothered to write, usually I only review if I have a good experience.

A truly amazing place to eat the very best food I have had in Brisbane. The chef is brilliant the staff are attentive, and great fun, the service is quick and efficient. It is not just a dessert bar, the tapas are inexpensive, innovative and delicious. The desserts are amazing and the coffee is great. It is worth the trip, we will be coming back.

We went here for dessert and it turned out to be better than we both expected. I ordered a banana split and found the ice cream to be of high quality and full of flavour. What I really liked about it was that it wasn't too sweet and the fact that they make their ice cream themselves and you can really tell.

There's very few places that make their own ice cream because it can be really expensive. The great thing about home made ice cream is that there is not artificial flavours, colours, preservatives or those horrible firming agents found in most commercial ice creams.

Their home made chocolate fudge and caramel was also really good and not watered down or full of fillers. Even the cream was really nice and good quality.

Other than the dessert, the service was really good and our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable. We did however go there at around 10pm on a Wednesday night so it wasn't overly busy hence I couldn't really comment on how the service would be during busy periods.

Overall it was a great experience and I'm glad we tried it. We've been to Max Brenner Chocolate bar before and really didn't like it and we also used to go to Freestyle Tout regularly before it went downhill. This place is better than both and we'll definitely be back soon.

Went to Mud the first time because it was new and Oxford St is my second home, went there the 2nd, 3rd 4th etc occasion because the food and service is fresh and original, yes big call I know but it is. Aesthetics tick, taste tick, something different on the menu for a change from cafe fare big tick. Oh and try the drinks too, wonderful!

The breakfast I had here was so good on the weekend that I went back the next day for dessert with my husband. Absolute heaven. I can't say enough about the food. My dessert, the tiramisu, was as close to perfect as it gets. The service was equally as good. Will definitely be going back.
