Still love it - but service gets worse every time I go there. But alas we don't go there for the service - which might I add used to be great! That was about 3 years ago - get that restaurant manager back because the one there now does not know how to train staff. I do love the food but really the prices have gone up a lot and now the consistency is not there either with overcooked steak and very average ceasar salads being produced. Always busy but I am starting to stray.

I love love love this place. My husband and I always come here when we want a good steak. Everytime it is perfect. The mushroom sauce is the best I have Ever had and I have been to a Lot of steakhouses. The prices are reasonable and the meals come out super quick. Recommend to all but do book as it is always very busy.

Been here 10 times or more for business dinners. Menu hasn't changed in 3 years (or so it seems) but maybe that's why I keep coming back! Service is generally pretty poor but meals are prepared very quickly and steaks and salads are always great. A little pricey but, otherwise, a pleasant and consistent experience.

The food was so good, everyone at our tabe of 12 was impressed with the freshness and quality of the food. I would definitely go back, the dessert was awsome.

I've visited twice in a search for the best steak in Brisbane. Good points: Friendly and accommodating wait staff, the T-Bone I had the first time was great, good enough to have me wanting to come back again, my medium rare Wagyu Rump the second time was again delicious, if a little overdone for my liking. It was well presented with a fresh, crisp salad, good chips and with a better than average (for a pub) mushroom sauce.

Bad points: My wife's steak - a crying shame: unseasoned (she asked the waiter nicely if the kitchen staff could season her steak this time), not rested (both our steaks were bleeding when they arrived - a sign they were either cooked too quick, or not rested after cooking), a blackened, charred flavour, and overcooked (half of it was cooked to a well-done bouncy grey).

It was pointless mentioning it to the staff as he launched into an emotional defence that the steaks 'were not undercooked', then stormed off to the kitchen ostensibly to kick the kitchen staff. Huh? I said they were overcooked! What's going on here? I tried to clear it up afterwards but he seemed to be having difficulties dealing with the feedback from customers.

Yes, we paid the full bill. No, we didn't ask for/weren't offered a discount. Yes, we will look elsewhere for Brisbane's best steak.

Awesome steaks! Pity about the service. Waiter never took our drinks order, never brought us a drinks list. When our drinks eventually arrived, he spilt two all over the table and onto my friend's digital SLR camera. Value is good and the steaks are awesome, just make sure you take an umbrella and a megaphone with you.

Best steak- and excellent pepper sauces perfect potato and nicely dressed not drenched salad.
