We went to Moda for a treat based on the reviews on this site. We were very disappointed with the food, we expected something special and really thought the dishes (fish and lamb) were very ordinary. Not bad, but no better than we have had at far cheaper restaurants including our local RSL.

Went to Moda because of recommendation from Sofitel Hotel where I was staying. Food was amazing indeed! The night before our group dined at Aria in Brisbane which was awesome but Moda was just as great. The Wagau Beef just melted in your mouth and all five of us were truely in awe! Highly recommended and will not disappoint!

Another great night at Moda. Every friend I bring along just raves about it. The wine list is nicely balanced too.

It's a nice restaurant. I expected the food to be better for the price I was paying. The fish I had was too salty and dry. The sauce was too overpowering so you don't get to taste the flavour of the fish. The entree and the dessert were no surprise and something you could have had at a restaurant of lower calibre. We waited 30 minutes for our food to served when the place was less than half full. After reading the other reviews, I'm a little disappointed with Moda.

Moda is awesome had a great night. Wine list extensive and good range of prices. The food speaks for itself, great flavours and presented beautifully. The service is attentive and the staff can answer any question you throw at them. I will return. You must put it on your places to go and dine.

Absolute perfection! must have is the clay pot lamb. For two people the lamb is baked in clay and cracked open at your table for some theatre. Every ingredient sublime. The chocolate tapas will impress even the fussiest chocolate eater.

Gianni's is great for the set lunch and is good for dinner. Once I had the distinct pleasure of going to Gianni's where Javier cooked a Spanish menu as opposed to European fusion and ever since try to recapture it. While his other food is great and not to be scoffed at I would sorely love Javier to cook a more Spanish menu with Fideua's and creme catalan in a homage to his native city of Barcelona.

I decided on booking this restaurant after reviewing the comments on this site. This is definitely a place to go to for a special occasion, the food was amazing. We had the 4 course degustation that I could not fault. The people were unpretentious and very welcoming. The ambience I gave an 8 due to the traffic noise when sitting in the courtyard, though after a few wines this seemed to fade. Thankyou Gianni's we will be back.

I went to this restaurant with some friends to celebrate my wife`s birthday. We selected the 4 course degustation menu. We all found the food, service and ambience to be excellent. I notice the other review gave this restaurant 10 for all items which means that there can be no better, I can`t give it that score because it will mean that I can never find a better place. I highly recommend Gianni`s for that special occasion.

We ate at this restaurant due to a mix up with a booking from another restaurant that we had booked for the same evening. It was always on my list of "to try" places. The first thing I noticed when entering the restaurant was the cleanliness and the atmosphere. Both stood out, believe me (I am very, very picky). The foods was superb, and the service was excellent, and in my opinion a fair price for the standards received. We have ate in some of the best restaurants all over the world and this was some of the best food we have ever ate. We will definitely return.
