Very good food at a very good price. The friendly service is second to none. The Mekong is an ideal BYO restaurant for a family gathering or a get-together between friends. Highly reccommended and excellent value!

My friends and I eat at this family owned restaurant almost every weekend. The food is outstanding as is the service. A BYO that doesn't charge corkage is a rare place. The front of house staff, Mai, Sonya and Ricky will share a laugh or two as well as joining in with the conversations, and they have all become our friends.

The prices are unbelievable, the all you can eat buffet dinner costs $13.50, and the "a la carte" menu tops out at $12.50 pp. The take away food is very popular with the locals also. There are no restrictions on how long you can stay. We are often the last to leave. All in all, I rate this place way above the Brisbane Hilton, where I once had a 4 course meal that took 5 hours, and I left hungry. That won't happen at the Mekong.
