Food-wise, pretty unimaginative and forgettable fare. My sirloin was cooked competently, but the meat itself was tough and flavourless and lacked seasoning; the accompaniments to the meat were uninspiring, with the lemon in the jus jarring against the crispy potatoes. My partner's beef ragout with pasta was, as the waitress pretty much described it herself, a glorified spaghetti bolognese - it was okay, but most amateur cooks would match this dish for flavour in their own home kitchens.

The chocolate mousse was too dense - at this price level it should have been much lighter, and it came garnished with a superfluous lump of fairy floss and gritty pieces of flavourless toffee - it really cried out for some berry acidity on the plate to balance out its richness. Service-wise, quite effusive and friendly at first, but noticeably absent and a bit tense as things went on. Never a good sign when wait staff admonish each other at full volume while serving customers.

Price-wise, I think these guys have got ahead of themselves. $37 mains and $15 dollar desserts are pretty poor value for money in a modest suburban location, particularly when they fail to rise above average.

Wow what a little restaurant. You can't beat the wine list very clever and great prices. We can see why they are finalist for restaurant and catering awards for both food and wine. Keep up the excellent standard.

We think this is the best restaurant in Brisbane. The food is absolutely faultless, the meal sizes are perfect to enable you to fit 3 courses and feel completely satisfied. The maitre d' knows the menu backwards and is always on hand to help. Don't bother to take your own wine, their range is outstanding.

In this day and age where customer service consists of a perfunctory grimace and a “have a good day” the team at Kis Cucina are welcoming, attentive and want you to enjoy their creative food on offer. We have returned many times to sample the seasonal freshness and inventiveness of the menu. It is one of those restaurants in the suburbs you don't want to close down!
