Well oh well what can one say this restaurant is stunningly well done, inside and out. This stunning Indian restaurant is run by one of my clients and he mentioned he had a little experience but my lord. For once a man was humble about his ability for this place is simply on par with 'The Brilliant' a 40+ year running Indian Restaurant boasting over 80 awards.

So the food is like no other Indian anywhere else in QLD and that's a definite, aside from one or two you won't have seen a majority of these names on another menu anywhere outside India itself. That matched with an outstanding front of house staff, I give you my word, eat here and you won't be disappointed. Thanks Kanishk and may you continue to grow as just deserved.

This restaurant is a bit pricier than the other Indian restaurants around the area and the menu is considerably smaller, offering slightly different options than most Indian restaurants, without the different meat alternatives. I had the Butter Chicken which was nice but had a different taste than others I have tasted and was not very hot as requested. My husband had the pork vindaloo which he said was good. The service was excellent and all the wait staff were very courteous and attentive. The Nann was alright but nothing to rave about. Although the food was nice enough I probably wouldn’t go back in a hurry as you can get more variety for a better price at most other Indian restaurants in Brisbane.

The best indian meal we've had in Brisbane. We booked for 6.30 on a Sunday evening and while there were quite a few people dining the service was impeccable. Have sampled a few indian restaurants in the Valley, St Lucia and Albion but Kanishk is something else. A truly enjoyable experience.

Awesome place. Although, they do use too much oil in their food. However, they were more than happy to comply with my request to moderate oil usage. Beautiful restaurant and ambience. A very good menu with vegan and GF options available. A regular hangout for me.

If you have been looking for Indian food that will delight, than look no further. My family and I loved the incredible food that we ate. A spotlessly clean restaurant, attention to detail in the table settings, customer service and a lot of effort has gone into the cooking of each dish. Beautiful flavors, clean, fresh spices. When we arrived we thought it was going to be expensive, but it was only slightly more per dish than other sub-standard Indian restaurants. Prices are spot on for the food.

This place is a cut above, well and truly worth checking it out. I had almost lost hope with Indian food, finally we've found somewhere we would go back to and recommend to family and friends.

Amazing! The service from start to finish is quite impressive. I actually haven't seen service like this here in Oz before. Very attentive wait staff (and plenty of them).

The food was absolutely divine and tastier by far to other Indian places in Brisbane. I've been informed by 'Dimple' (Chef) that they use much less butter and cream and prefer to let the workings of natural spices to enhance and promote flavour.

Whatever you're doing Dimple, keep doing it brother! I sincerely hope Kanishk can maintain this standard in 12 months or 2 years. Prices are 'a little' more expensive than regular Indian restaurants as expected but still very reasonable. My wife and I will be back very soon!
