One of the best food experiences I've had in the last couple of years.
We shared a selection of dishes and finished with a mind blowing chocolate pudding.

Each bite left me wanting more.

We're from out of town and a friend took us there for dinner... It was really refreshing to find this unpretensious little place where the aim of the game seems to be a passion for making amazing food.

It's seriously worth a flight back to Brisbane just to eat there again.

Love the Jam Jar in West End! It's my new favourite restuarant in Brisbane. The food is perfect, impossible to fault. I've been here twice now and both times it was divine. The first time my partner had a delicious Mahi Mahi dish which he said was perfect. I enjoyed a rocket, pear and parmesan salad with some gorgeous rosemary roasted chat potatoes on the side.

During out second visit we shared some beautiful oysters and slow poached baby beets for our entree. My partner's main was very generous... he had the ballontine of chicken with truffled mash and he couldn't fault it. The truffled mash was amazing! I loved my main of the potage of winter vegetables. It was beautiful and light which meant I had room for the most fabulous creme caramel for dessert.

It was served with macerated citrus and almond praline and I finished it all. He had the chocolate mousse with honeycomb... I was jealous. The service is perfect and the cocktails are great too. Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.
