Very ordinary indian food, we had butter chicken which was bland and lacked flavour, every butter chicken I have ever had in 20+ years of indian cuisine being my favourite the chicken has first been cooked in the tandoor for flavour, this chicken was not and wasn't even browned. The sauce was pale in colour and not enjoyable, we didn't eat it all and threw the rest in the bin, normally we love dipping naan into the sauce and every little bit is gobbled up.

The palak paneer was ok, not the best I have ever had, unfortunately, there were only 3 pieces of paneer which is not enough for 2 to share and we felt quite ripped off. Samosas were like thai samosas with puff pastry, not the traditional indian style I have previously had. This was our first and last takeaway from this restaurant. Very disappointing and a waste of money $54 for takeaway for 2.

Having been a regular customer to this restaurant for obvious reasons, we recently encountered an awkward situation concerning a take-a-way order. Being a local customer we received a menu in the mail, that stated on the front page that a take away offer of order 1 main and get 2nd main for $7.95*. With the small print being * "Offer applies to takeaways only Sunday - Thursday excluding Public Hols, Valentines Day and Mothers Day. Not to be used in conjunction with any other offers."

In paying for the take-a-way we asked about this offer after paying full price and entered a slight what awkward and arrogant argument with the senior staff. We were informed that we needed to cut out the complex supernova style outlined offer that was allegedly a coupon that was required to be brought in. Little did we know this and were treated as being somewhat stupid for not having telepathic powers in knowing this.

Which is extremely rude as this requirement is not printed anywhere on the advertised menu we received. Finally we were granted the offer in the end. But all I can say is this place is of anything but superior service in my eyes, which is printed in big print on the advertised menu we received.

OMG! this place is amazing! went here last night and had the best curry I have ever tried! The food was fantastic here. The place was packed with people dining in and also the main foyer was crowded with people getting takeaway, always a good sign. Its a 40 minutes drive for me but this is going to be my local indian takeway as it is worth the drive. Service was good, average price for dine in curry is $19.00, but worth it as you get free rice with it and they put soooo much meat in their curries.

If you haven't tried this place I strongly recommend that you do. Order the chicken tikka masala or the chicken shimi.

We have been coming here for 10 years and the great quality of food and service has not changed. We have been to many indian restaurants and Jaipur Place is way above the rest. Hope to enjoy another 10 years, well done Jaipur.

I have tried heaps of Indian restaurants all over Brisbane and to be honest, Jaipur Palace is always beautiful! the food is always fresh and you can even place a takeaway order to pick up as late as 9-9.30pm on weekends! I will never go anywhere else for Indian again!

I have been going here for seven years, and the quality has not changed a bit. It's fabulous, great service, I have tried EVERYTHING on the menu and it's all great, I highly recommend the onion bhajis, chilli prawn goa, chicken tikka masala, the lamb rogan josh, the punjabi naan, and if you can squeeze it in a falooda is a wonderful drink to cleanse the palate between courses, just fantastic, and there's a pub next door!

What more could you want! There's sometimes a bit of a wait if it's really busy but that's because it's REALLY good, and again there's a pub next door. Any wait is worth it, I'm a curry nut, and have tried over a dozen curry houses in Brisbane, (as it is I drive 40mins to Wello Pt, and some friends drive down from Nudgee!)

BYO great food and love dining on the sidewalk especially in summer. Always consistent though prices have gone up a bit lately. Consider it to be one of the best on the southside.
