I chose Jade Buddha for my birthday dinner because of it's location overlooking the Brisbane River and because of it's reputation for great food. The waitress was very friendly and efficient, the view magnificent and the food was to die for. We all ordered a different main course and we all raved how good our meal was.

Two of us experienced a different dessert and I would have to say that the Seasonal Fruit in a Brandy Basket was divine, is one of the nicest desserts I have ever had. The only criticism would be the music from the Cove Bar out to the restaurant was too loud but being a Friday night I guess you can expect it to be a bit noisy but overall a wonderful night out with beautiful food. Was in for a hens night and had the best time ever, food was perfect, waiters knew what they were doing and very polite. Will be coming back for my Birthday next week, can't wait.

If you are looking for an enjoyable social dinner, This is not for you! After making my booking well over a month in advance and realising I had not received a confirmation call the day prior to my reservation, I called Jade Buddha to learn the girl hadn't written my booking down. "Luckily" they managed to fit us in though after I wish had gone elsewhere. They served us champagne glasses with lipstick Clearly visible on 2 of them.

The waitress didn't notice and poured the champagne, therefore, the champagne had to be replaced. We then ordered starters telling the waitress we wanted them to share with the table. With 5 people at our table you would think common sense would prevail and she would have offered us some direction on portions. She did not and the starters came with 3 servings per item, clearly not enough to share.

After pointing this out to the waitress she said 'Oh, well then your mains aren't going to be enough either' so we had to revise our main order. Finally at the end when we received our check there were Four added items that were from another table! The staff gave us the revised correct bill but offered no form of compensation and really didn't seem to care about the rotten experience they had given us.

I see my father once a year and I am so disappointed they tainted his visit this way. I will Never go back there and I warn anyone who is thinking of dining there, do not go there!

Found out about the sunday bbq, and decided to attend. Wow was it busy! We waited 10 minutes for a table and were seated. From the start you could see well experienced staff surprisingly happy considering how busy it was. Food came out promptly and service was excellent. The sunday bbq is a must!

My friends and I went in to Jade Buddha for the Sunday BBQ and had a great time, it gets quite busy so good to get in early but food was delicious and our waiter was very friendly and let's not forget the view!

I went to Jade Buddha for my hens night last week. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was divine. And have you seen the views. Definitely one of the best views of the river that Brisbane City has to offer.

Positioning is nice over looking the river. Wait staff - clueless. Food - Barely Edible
Time, Beyond a joke for a weeknight. Will not recommend any aspect of this restaurant to anyone. Quite a disappointment.

My partner chose Jade Buddha for a romantic night out, the seats we got were beautiful overlooking the river and a perfect view of the story bridge. Our waitress was extremely helpful and friendly. My partner had the steak which was cooked perfectly. I had the salmon which was a big meal. We will definitely be going back if not just for the cocktail list!

I went last Saturday with a friend and we had a fairly good experience. The food service was a little slow but the restaurant was full at the time. The host was a very friendly young man (no older than 20) who was very enthusiastic and easy to talk to.

Our waitress was clearly new to the job and not very useful for recommendations so we picked the stir fried lamb and the salmon which (eventually) turned out very nice. The wine list was fairly average too. Overall a good place to go but needs some fine tuning.

They have a special on every Sunday between 14:00 to 17:00. For $10 you can have a steak or seafood meal accompanied with salad. Not bad for the price, it's a good value.
