Established in 2002 Indus is a benchmark of Indian food in Brisbane. Contemporary Indian restaurant, awarded Winner of Best Indian Restaurant in restaurant and catering. Very nicely fitted out with original Indian artwork and food is a good mix of very original and creative dishes to add a twist to the menu - Camembert Bollywood Pakoras,cOlive Naan, Veal Ossobucco, Lamb Shanks Just to name a few.     Took some relatives out for dinner on Sunday. A little quiet for a Sunday night. The ambience was quite lovely, staff were efficient and the food (rated between a 7 and 8) was delicious.

    Favourite was the Eggplant Pasanda. At first I thought it was an odd combination having potato and paneer with eggplant but, combined with the spices it did blend well. My least favourite was the Methi Chicken only because the chicken was just too dry. The actual flavours were lovely though. The Biryani was ok but, again the chicken too dry. That would be my only complaint.

    The food tasted fresh (took a little longer to arrive than usual Indian restaurants so we figured it was fresh! I hope) and the spices hit the spot. Oh! And how could I forget the Naan, absolutely soft and Yum! Prices are a little higher than most places, but will definitely go again.
