First time for our family here and it was lovely. Although the restaurant was very busy, service was timely and the food quality was fab. Dessert was worth returning for especially. Can't wait to visit again to try some more dishes.

My first time dining at Il Vagabondo was pleasurable, all staff were extremely courteous, very friendly and very eager to help. Food was generous and flavours were amongst some of the best Italian I have eaten. Good looking staff an added bonus.

We used this website to find this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The owner was very friendly and there were many (Italian) families there which is always a good sign. The food was excellent.

We had such a wonderful time we did not want to leave. This restaurant is just the best. The food, service the whole feel of the restaurant is so welcoming you want to stay as long as possible.

The owner Josie is a lovely lady who makes the experience so enjoyable. We read the reviews and decided to try for ourselves. The best time ever at a restaurant. We highly recommend this all food lovers.

The owner is a very nice lady and I don't know if it was just that day, but, our meal wasn't so great (it was very busy though). The pasta wasn't aldente (which was surprizing) but the sauce was nice. The carbonara is authentic which is good. I wouldn't order the steak again, I could get better at a bar/restaurant (thin and tough). The portions are large which is good. Their cake is nice too (home made).

After reading the reviews we decided to try this restaurant and we're very glad that we did. Just wonderful! The owner Josie is such a beautiful elegant lady who goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. The food, the service the atmosphere is delightful. A restaurant we highly recommend. We loved it so much that we have booked our wedding reception there.

The restaurant was highly recommended by a friend, and indeed it lived up to every expectation. The food and service are both beyond reproach. The family feel the restaurant emanates makes the dining experience pleasurable and homely.

The proprietors John and Josie offer a restaurant that provides authentic Sicilian food, professionally prepared by the experienced and capable chef, Aldo. The meals are both generously sized, and reasonably priced and the desserts sumptuous. This may have been our first visit to Il Vagabondo, but it certainly won't be our last.

We regularly dine out with friends and try to chose a different restaurant each time. One of our party heard this one advertised on the radio and we decided to give it a try last night. The food was great, the desserts even better, I had their home made icecream cake which was out of this world, recommended by the owner.

The owner walked around from table to table which added to the atmosphere, even the chef came out to chat with the customers and help clear the table, even though the owner obviously new regular customers he did not dwell at their table but also spent time with the first time customers. Great to see, will go back again ... will recommend to friends and family also ......

We went here on Saturday night with 3 other couples. I had the salmon and our friends had veal and steaks and pasta dishes, all of which were just beautiful along with the presentation. Meals average $25.00+, the chef comes around to see you after the meal to ensure you were completely satisfied. The owner of the restaurant is so friendly and accommodating. This is the best Italian food we have eaten in Brisbane thus far. This is a great restaurant tucked away on Sanders St behind Coles.

We went to this great new Sicilian restqautant called Il Vagabondo at Upper Mt Gravatt. We had the time of our lives. The food, well you won't get better authentic Itanial food anywhere outside of Sicily, even there, just fabulous.

The service and the ambience is fantastic. The friendly atmosphere is inviting to all a place where you can enjoy a fantistic meal .

My wife and I sat at an intermit table with candle light and soft Italian music playing in the background. The friendly owner welcomed us and escorted us to our table, helped us with our choice of food and wine.

The meals are so large and delightful great value for money. We have found our little Sicily and we will tell all our friends to try this experience. Rate it 10 better than anywhere.
