Beautiful food! The Gyoza's are the best I've ever tasted, and everything else is really fresh and unique. The prices are very reasonable and the service is very accommodating. I very much recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal at a decent price, in a fabulous location.

I often go to the movies at the Southbank Cinema but I've always walked straight passed this gem of a restaurant. On the weekend, my friend and I only had 40 minutes before our film started so we were concerned we wouldn't be able to squeeze in dinner, but it definitely wasn't a problem at Ginga! Even though it was 7 pm on a Saturday night and very busy, we were greeted warmly, offered seats and served drinks within 5 minutes! We then had a good half an hour to peruse the fantastic selection on the train.
I was absolutely stuffed after 3 plates of delicious, fresh sushi and was even more delighted when my bill (including a glass of wine) only came to $17. Excellent food, excellent service, great value for money, perfect location. I'll definitely be back!

I enjoy the food here, it is more expensive than I would normally pay for Japanese but very delicious and right in the middle of Southbank.

Been here multiple times and loved it each time. The food is flavoursome and affordable, and it is located in the heart of southbank so you can follow dinner with a nice evening stroll through the park lands.

Ive dinned at Gingas on more than one occasion and have been completely satisfied every time. I took my Partner there only 2 nights ago, her first experience of fresh traditional Japanese food in an environment combining outdoor, Japanses and contempory surroundings. I will continue to dine there and intend on exposing more people to it.

My husband and I go to this restaurant at least once a month. It has a lovely Japanese feel and the food is just delicious and great value for money, they also have a really good range of drinks from Oz/Jap/and other nations. The staff are so friendly and very helpful and always make sure we have a great night. You must go eat here and I am sure you will have a wonderful night and if you worried that it Japanese and you wont know what to order, it ok they have pictures throughout their menu to help.

Food is very reasonably priced and there is a large menu with around 130 dishes to choose from. Food is tasty, well presented and good sized. Service can be very slow when they get busy so best to go just before or after main eating times. Staff are very friendly.
