Worst tempura that the 3 of us had ever tried to eat. The batter was not a tempura batter, was cooked too long, was too thick and fell off easily. We all ended up with plates of oily batter, as we had to scrape it off to be able to eat the vegetables etc. Never again.

The food was way over priced. We ordered some drinks and also requested for 2 glasses of water, they didn't give us the water at all and we had to wait for over 20 minutes for our food. We had a sushi and sashimi platter and a teriyaki chicken. The sushi and sashimi platter is just average a bit disappointed and the teriyaki chicken is the worse I ever had, really plain not much taste at all, and the chicken is bit over cooked. Don't think I will go back or recommend anyone to go there.

I had a lovely meal at Ginga. The seats were a little low and uncomfortable after a while. And it was very noisy from people in the booth next to us. But the food was light and delicious and very delicate in flavour. I eat vegetarian so I understand my responses might be different from anyone eating meat dishes.

Thought of treating myself to a nice dinner, and ordered a Chirashi Don ($26). It took 20 minutes to come (and if I'm not wrong, a Chirashi Don has no cooking involved. It's just sashimi on rice).
The people on the next table came later than I did and ordered later than I did, but their food came first. Several waitresses passed by my table, and noticed I wasn't served, but none checked with the kitchen if something was amiss, until I finally asked one of them to check my order.
Sashimi wasn't really that fresh, rather flakey and old. Fish was warm. Overall I feel the service was dismal and the food was mediocre. Will never return.

It is one of my flavorite place for sushi. It is modern japanese restaurant and divided into two sections. The right section is for the sushi train and left side is for order from the menu. I went there twice for the sushi train. The second experience was not as great as the first time. The first time we ordered from the menu as the sushi was on the train and the sushi were freshly made and nice. Freshly made can make a big difference especially if you want to try the seared salmon sushi with basil paste.

I ordered a seared salmon sushi from the menu and I saw the waitress take it from the train. I asked if I could have a fresh one so it would be warm and she told me it was warm. I touched it and it was cold and quite hard. I told her that I saw her get it from the train. She said "it takes too long to make it fresh"!

Run by bossy chinese waitresses with very oily, frozen food. Lighting is weird, chairs are not comfortable, and generally very dirty and sticky floors and tables. Good for children and junk food.

Early Friday night booking. Only about 1/3 full. Seated promptly inside. Had to attract staff to take drink orders and again to order meals. Even though there seemed to be plenty of staff, they seemed disorganised. One of our dishes did the rounds of the restaurant before finding it'd way to our table. Hate to see when they are real busy.
Food - Sashimi was very cold (defrosted?). Tempura had been cooked in old oil, very disappointing. Noodle dish, dumplings, and fried rice were excellent. Seats not made for comfort.

Food was good, price was decent. Lot's of dishes to choose from on the menu. The sushi, sashimi and yakitori chicken was tasty, the raw beef was a bit bland though. Wait staff were attentive and friendly. I'd definitely go back!

One of my favourite places for sushi, food is a little inconsistent but I guess chefs need days off too.
